Hi athletes! I've demonstrated some wrist, hand and forearm strength training exercises, wrist and hand stretches to prevent tennis and racket sport injury. Use these wrist exercises for prehab, rehab and strength building. No matter what sport you play or do (golf, tennis, yoga, hockey, boxing) wrist strength is super important.

Excited to try these! I am getting back into tennis and actually learning proper technique through lessons and I think that has caused some wrist pain so I want to strengthen my wrists to hopefully reduce pain from happening.

Great video and exercises. My grandma hopes they will help strengthen her wrist to help with osteoporotic conditions. She knows the first thing that can go is the area supporting the wrists. Thank you so much.

Nice video. Do you know about the cmc joint pain at the base of the thumb. I've suddenly started experiencing that pain and I'm not able to get rid of it even after rice therapy.

i just got a wrist pain on the outer-side while playing Tennis. I was trying to have more spin on the ball by flicking my wrist and it was my first time at flicking, Now its a minimal pain,i can play tennis but there is still pain while Hitting the ball.

Give it some rest if you can and make sure your technique is not causing the pain.

I fell down from tree since 4 mnts m suffering from a wrist injury. still m getting pain while doing pushups. will these exercises help me out?? or should I do any rehabilitation exercises? ?

If we play tennis very competitively how much should stretch before these exercises??

You should do light stretching and make sure you body is warmed up a bit. It's best to stretch after the exercises with the range of motion stretches I show at the end of the video.

No need to stretch between. Warm up your body doing jumping jacks, jump rope, a quick walk/run...
