Good video idea, but not so great on the gear chosen (at least for BiS) first off big misconception. Might of Menethil for an Orc shaman is not the best weapon for Raid Boss DPS. Dark Edge of Insanity is. Orcs extra Expertise on Axe Skills ensures that Dark Edge does more. Might of Menethil will be your best choice everywhere else though. Secondly, there are plenty of mana work arounds instead of going with the mess of stormcallers gear. It just doesn't work with Enhance. You sacrifice way to much damage. You did 621 on a tank and spank in BiS with some consumables. That's very low. Alternatively with proper gear and optimization, basic raid buffs such as flasks and mana consumes you can easily hit 800+ DPS. You are running a cool build, but it's far from BiS.

Seems stupid that we cannot see the debuffs on the target. The dps seems super high, and the video description says "boss fully debuffed". With mindfaly ticks around 500 in preraid gear i can only assume that "fully debuffed" means it also has 100% uptime on nightfall and improved shadowbolt. Seems very unrealistic to expect these two debuffs to have 100% uptime. Cool idea for a video but poorly executed imo. We need to be able to see which buffs/debuffs the priest/mob has.

This video is pretty accurate. I'm in prebis + bloodvine set, and without warlock curse lowering resists, I can pump out between 300 and 350 dps, depending on rng until oom. Mileage will vary across different servers.

What I never seen anyone talk about is how balance / resto is an amazing heal spec.

For the naxx gear, you should use legplates of carnage instead of titanic leggins.

you need x2 crusader or x2 +15agilty weapon enchants and every other gear enchantment should be agility and hit rate

incorrect rotation and therefore unfortunately misleading video. missing chain lighting combined with elemental devastation and freecast procs. for highest (but unsustained) dps you also weave in frost shock and fire nova totem (with target having curse of elements).

It'll be nice if you help new users what the rotation is.

i find that way off because full t2 set with world buffs will do way higher damage then the gear your using the 8 set 10% proc for a insta cast fully buffed is around 230-290ish sp eq since you pyro on your free proc and by naxx there is 40slot so you can take up the slot for it but even in bwl its still around 180-210 sp which trumps 5% crit by far

PVE is like ok but Troll priest is the best for PVP because of shadow guard skills amazing with spell power insane damage and proc blackouts , shadow weaving also healing you if Vampiric embrace is on its nutty butty

Please can you help me! If for example Paladin and Warrior and Shaman all wear the same gear (and weapon!) the only difference are the skills and talents. I dont understand why the Shaman makes less damage then the Warrior.
