Nice video. I think that table would work on my rear bumper really well. I was thinking about a solution to replace the wing nuts also. If you could drill a hole in the bolt and drop a linch pin down through it, it could work. I see why they used wing nuts because they don’t rattle. Still thinking…be sure to update us if you figure out a solution.

Very thorough diagnosis. I am/was chasing the same hissing sound on fill ups. I just put a cheap inline fuel filter on the tank vent hose that goes to the charcoal canister. Might have been asked already but why didn't you use a bushing or a completely threaded bolt with nuts on the inside to keep the radius arm mounts and rear lower control arm mounts from possibly shrinking from the heat of welding?

Thought about it. But the shrinkage was very minimal. The arms actually fit nice and snug in there now.

I had same problem on my hdj81 landcruiser. I fitted castor correction plates from west coast 4x4. I believe they were made by ironman. Completely fixed my steering issues. I run 315/75/16 bf's the front tyres wear a little more than the rear but that's to be expected. I did mine many years ago when there was not much info out there so I had to learn and work through these issues as did the mods.
@trackcalledquest5 ай бұрын
Yeah, I totally agree I learned as well. I was not able to get enough castor correction with the plates. But ever since I did the DVS front radius arms the issues have been resolved , drives like a champ.
