I've had the 2024 CVT A-Spec trim for about a year now and it's true that it's not all that quick off the line compared to other modern vehicles, but what I love about it most is that it maintains road feel. I use the vibrations of the car to make smart driving decisions about as much as I do my eyes. The way other brands (or even the TLX for that matter) try to hug, coddle, and shield you from the road feel makes me feel uneasy and less aware. I've also had 3 different manual gear-heads drive it on a 4-hour road trip, and they all absolutely loved it because of how engaging it was to drive, despite being a CVT

Can you please explain the regen breaking and how to use it. The manual is too much … lol
@Outsider.Reviews14 сағат бұрын
@Paulazone78 You can adjust the regenerative braking on your Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV in a couple of ways: 1. Paddle Shifters: * Located behind the steering wheel. These allow you to quickly adjust the regen braking intensity while driving. * Left Paddle: Increases the regenerative braking force (B1 to B5). You'll feel the car slow down more aggressively when you lift off the accelerator. * Right Paddle: Decreases the regenerative braking force (B5 to B1). The car will coast more freely when you lift off the accelerator. * Right Paddle (Hold): Holding the right paddle for two seconds returns the regen braking to the default level (B2) and displays a "D" on the dash. 2. Drive Mode Selector: * Shifting into "B" mode: This automatically sets the regenerative braking to level B3, a stronger setting than the default B2. This is useful for maximizing regen when going downhill or when you want to increase battery charge. Understanding the Regenerative Braking Levels: * B0: No regenerative braking. The vehicle coasts freely when you lift off the accelerator. * B1 to B5: Increasing levels of regenerative braking. B5 provides the strongest braking effect, allowing for almost one-pedal driving in some situations. Important Notes: * Default Setting: The default regenerative braking level is B2 whenever you shift into Drive. I hope this helps 😉

Compared to the (more expensive) Crown Signia, this interior looks so dated. I expect the refresh will change this for the better. @Outsider.Reviews8 күн бұрын
@RDeckardB-263-54 I preferred the GMC Acadia AT4 for interior style over the Z71 but the Traverse has a nicer exterior. For your wife's convenience, I definitely liked the VW Interior a lot as well and overall driving dynamics were pretty good. I think you're on the right track considering the Grand Highlander, I would try the Atlas and the Acadia since the ACADIA's interior beats all others and still handles about the same as the Traverse. The Pilot and Grand Highlander get my vote for overall reliability and Functionality but The Atlas is a good mix of both worlds since its not the first year for the model refresh and the Acadia has the best interior but this it's first year with it and that usually means recalls.

Hi Pat, I have the AWD version and I occasionnaly charge up to 415 km from the house station (type 2 , 40 Amp/220V). However, I am surprised that you have mentionned during the report that you charged your BZ4X on a type 3 load of 180 kW in approx. 20 minutes! My experience (a week ago) I had to wait an average of 1 hour 15 minutes to recharge the car for a 250 km recharge on the same type terminal. I loaded the car on three occasions on this trip with this average result!! It is way too long! I understand that Toyota has safety limits to honor its 10 year warranty, but this prolongs a trip.... As for the driving I love it! Great review!😀

@@DanielBrunet-nx5pj Hi Dan, thank you for watching and giving us your feedback. Charging is very inconsistent with all EVs and depends on the charging station, the weather, the battery's chemical stress points (I am still learning about that one lol) but I did just email Toyota requesting a winter trial with this EV because according to my spreadsheet, this EV was the most efficient in relation to Kwh/100km and overall cost of electricity which has resulted in me wanting to test the bZ4X even more and perhaps even purchase one especially since there's a new report stating the battery wear over time is much less than what Toyota expected. @TsaisRealtyGNY Yup. Here is what I know. Ford Performance Parts has released a software update that boosts the horsepower and torque of both the Ford Ranger Raptor and the Ford Bronco Raptor. Here's what you need to know: * Significant Power Increase: The update increases the output of the 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 engine in both vehicles to 455 horsepower and 536 lb-ft of torque. This is a jump of 37 hp and 96 lb-ft for the Bronco Raptor. * Improved Performance: In addition to the power boost, the update also optimizes the throttle response and shift schedule for a more responsive and engaging driving experience. * Availability and Cost: The upgrade is available for 2024 Ranger Raptor and 2022-2024 Bronco Raptor models. It costs $825 and can be purchased and installed at your local Ford dealer. You can even use Ford Pass Rewards points towards the purchase. * Warranty: The software calibration is covered by the vehicle's 3-year/36,000-mile warranty, so you can have peace of mind knowing it's backed by Ford. Where to get it: Contact your local Ford dealer to schedule an appointment to have the software update installed on your Bronco Raptor. This upgrade is a great option for those looking for a noticeable performance enhancement without resorting to aftermarket modifications.
