I like it! I do wish they offered a hybrid getting 35mpg like the Grand Highlander.

I agree, they need an electrified option, either PHEV or mild hybrid.

What do you think of it as a road tripper? We do 2k to 3k miles road trips every year in our Honda minivan. Now looking at the Acadia to replace the minivan, but need to know how reliable it is and if it will hold up on long road trips on hot summer days. The previous generation Acadia was not particularly a reliable vehicle.

@@sansinutube I pride myself in representing you guys the buyers so I will answer this in full transparency. Reliability is one of the hardest things to predict, even reputable brands like Toyota produce models that are very unreliable in the first year sometimes two years after a big refresh. To answer your road tripper question, this vehicle is the most comfortable and spacious one I've tested, however, for reliability, it just got a complete overhaul and I would warn you that recalls and issues always happen to a brand new MY since many of its components are new. From that 15" infotainment system to the turbo 4 cylinder engine on a bigger frame and body... I would be cautious but again the comfort and ride of this SUV were extremely impressive.

@@Outsider.Reviews Wow, thanks! So in terms of ride comfort and cabin quietness, would you rate the Acadia above the Traverse and the Pilot? I checked your reviews of the other 2 3-row SUVs. You definitely seem more impressed with the ride quality of the Acadia.
@Outsider.Reviews3 ай бұрын
@@sansinutube I was more impressed with the Acadia yes. I like the Pilot in terms that it has a naturally aspirated V6, better ground clearance and a bit more space but I think you should test both of them out and see which appeals to you.

HUD = Not a must . Heads Up Display Also seriously raises cost of windshields!!
@Outsider.Reviews3 ай бұрын
@@RoyPollonAndFriends excellent point. I often forget the HUD is even there if there is one and windshields are pricey enough as it is with all the sensors

Still garbage... good video. But these vehicles are trash. They can't keep the bottom of the doors from rusting out and holding water... plus the drive train is trash...
@Outsider.Reviews3 ай бұрын
@@wrathofcars6994 I appreciate your input and thank you for watching. It's hard to predict reliability but when a vehicle gets a huge refresh, including the drivetrain, it will probably have issues for the first year or two. Hopefully not too bad though lol

It's seems to be really nice.Have a very comfortable ride .But when driving on the highway, how does it handle around turns. Does it seem top heavy. Does it really lean into the turns.
@Outsider.Reviews3 ай бұрын
@@johnmcmanus123 I wouldn't say it feels top heavy but it's also not leaning into the turn. body roll is minimal but it won't be engaging like the Acura MDX Type S or anything nor would I expect it to be. It's built around comfort and stability. Highway curves shouldn't be an issue since in the video I am driving in rural mountainous winding roads.
@johnmcmanus1233 ай бұрын
@Outsider.Reviews thank you for that answer. Its so hard I'm down to that or the explorer
@Outsider.Reviews3 ай бұрын
@@johnmcmanus123 That's a tough one... If I may, here's a simplified answer lol: Choose the Traverse if: You need maximum space and practicality, prioritize a comfortable ride, or want off-road capability. Choose the Explorer if: You prefer a more engaging driving experience, value a modern design, or need higher towing capacity. Ultimately, the best way to decide is to test drive both SUVs and see which one better suits your needs and preferences.
