I have the same setup just marsupial gear instead of eberlestock. I just added their small zipper pouch on the left and keep my release in there since I shoot a handheld I know I won’t lose it. Great setup

I have one. I have the rangefinder pouch on my righthand side and then I added an amazon no name brand molle cell phone holder on the left side. The molle panels give you the ability to use all kinds of surplus molle pouches
@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA2 ай бұрын
Hell ya! I like that! How is yours holding up? Any dislikes?
@tony_mau2 ай бұрын
@ I like it. My only complaint is that the back pouch is too small and tight to really be useful other than to keep maybe your tags or something. I had the same idea as you putting a small pistol in there, it works with a Ruger lc9 or similar sized gun but its really tight with binos in the pouch and it makes it awkward to draw with any speed.
@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA2 ай бұрын
@tony_mau I was curious about that I have yet to try it with my pistol as NY it’s illegal to carry during archery so I haven’t tried it

I went from using the basic chest bino straps, to the cheap one that came with my vortex to the old model Stone Glacier Skyline harness. Got it for less than $60, right when they came out with their new model. I was considering the eberlestock also. Eberlestock has so many options for accessories to add on to theirs it makes it hard to beat. The stone glacier I have is definitely a minimalist design, but happy with it so far.

@ only downside to any chest pack holder is if you need to add or remove a layer of clothing. You can maybe put s jacket over it, but if you want to really layer up you have to take the whole thing off. Not a deal breaker though. Also, you can attach the hand warmer to your bridge loops or somewhere on the saddle. Thats what I plan to do.
@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA2 ай бұрын
@kip.k I did not think of that last thought, that is slick! It hasn’t been an issue wearing as in in the saddle though plenty of room for the handwarmer

I actually have a t and k gen 1. I just ordered Eberlestock bino harness. The t and k just doesn’t have the pockets the Eberlestock offers.

How do you like the T and K?
@SwampLifeAdventures3 күн бұрын
@ I like it a lot. I like the cell phone pocket they have. Very comfortable. I’m sure the gen 3 has more pockets but the gen 1 doesn’t.

i had to stop using my bino harness and go back to just having them hang around my neck. the harness pulling my clothing tight against my back makes me sweat. never experienced that until i started using a bino harness, and that was with a vented one as well. then, i even cut away half the material, and it still didn't matter. and now, even wearing a pack, is having that same effect, making my back sweat. i had to take my pack off today and just carry it slung over one shoulder.
@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA2 ай бұрын
Interesting! I haven’t had that issue yet but I will let you know if that changes
@zzz7zzz92 ай бұрын
@@BlueCollarOutdoorsUSA ya, i don't know if it's just body changes or something. Never had that before. Today was even cold as hell, puddles were frozen, heavy frost everywhere, and a snow-squall moved through. 5 minutes into my hike, i took off my fleece and put it in the pack. A ways further, i was taking off the top half of my long-johns, and was down to a t-shirt. Then i realized it was because of my pack. That's when i removed it and just carried it over a shoulder. Is this what menopause might be like?

How big is that pouch area on ur chest u were talking about carrying pistol.....because with my cc pistol I could probably sneak that in there. That would be ideal. In pocket close to chest, easily accessible. If it was little more than 6inx4in it probably would work. That would sell me. Add in Range Finder and Hand Warmer all set.
