Good luck with your surgeries. Being off your feet and unable to get to your craft room is hard! I look forward to your return as you are one of my favorites. You always have a great variety of finished projects and are very inspiring.

Oh Cathy, I had that surgery done 10 years ago. I had a bone spur that was wrapped around my achilles tendon and it was rubbing on my Achilles tendon and almost cut it in half he immediately put me in a boot until I could get surgery scheduled and then he had to go in detach my Achilles tendon shave off the bones spur and then reattach my Achilles tendon and yes, you will be in a cast for 6 to 8 weeks and then you’ll be in a boot for 6 to 8 weeks and then physical therapy, but it is worth it. You will feel so much better. Prayers for a quick recovery recovery, set up a basket of whips next to your chair so you can do some stitching while you recover!

I’m an RN in my past working life but I was making quite the face as you described your upcoming surgery!! hahaha BUT… you will do great just be sure to post once in awhile after you are into your recovery and let all of your stitchy friends know you are doing ok! Kathy...thanks for your sweet posting...happy to hear Nancy will be posting...sorry to hear about your eye and heel problems...will add my prayers for you recovery...and that of your husband's knees...I have not been stitching because of a clot behind my eye...I will get some 10 count Aida and see if my new glasses will allow me to stitch...I have knitted some and crocheted too...best wishes to you both❤

Hi Cathy, want you to know that I will be praying for you. That both surgery' s go well and speedy and uncompleted recovery. I like the stitching you did on the 10 count with the heavier thread.
