Oh my, so many treasures were found. Kate says the bottle was a little wonky, but aren't we all just a bit wonky?? Love watching these ladies "play" with their doll houses.

What a wonderful lot of stoneware bottles you found. The little almost cone shaped ones are cream pots. I keep my paint brushes in one of those. You must go back soon and find some more. Stay safe love to all. Fairy Acorn xxxx

The head looks like a Sultan. The blue knob maybe the top of a finial or a drawer pull? Looked like such fun scrambling around for all the ceramics which are my favs - love a good white with lots of crazing. thanx!

Your hunts are so idyllic, sweet company and treasures of old memories, even if not your own. The loveliness of the wood and the seashores, so peaceful. I watch these videos with some envy; no government intervention or poison oak. What a dream! 🙂❤️

I think your little blue china finial would make a great globe rather than a vase for the study. Turned upside and mounted it would look the part.🙂

I get so much vicarious joy from you guys. This was an extra fun one! I hope all of the stuff you left behind is still there on your return. You should take some kind of wagon with you! I remember you mentioning your plan for those stoneware bottles and I think it's a lovely idea. Poo on those who made a stink about it. Great finds! I have a ribbed jam jar I brought home from Ireland in the 70s. It sits on my kitchen counter and holds my steak knives.

You could do a “Lark-a-Ween” episode on the other channel making spooky themed an harvest themed things for the doll houses an out of your finds like the Frankenstein you suggested. I love your creations, they’re always so beautiful! Cheers!

The flat creme pots w the lids. That have nothing on them. ( so wish I had it), but u could paint a beautiful picture on lids. Maybe Christmas theme or flowers.. just an idea, or give as presents to those who do like to paint. 🌼

I'm so pleased for both of you ladies, finding one surprising rescue after another. It is like the good ol' days, isn't it? The headless body, with his hands up, looked like a chef, tossing pizza dough in the air. Perhaps that is a chef's head? I liked it all, though as often happens, your faves were also my faves. : ) I appreciate and enjoy your channels so much. You enrich my life. Thank you. : )

That was the best spot ever! Like it was never touched or something. Wow! I was floored at all the stone wear. I love that stuff. And the jug..the complete and numbered water jug....faint!!!

Just an idea ladies.....take a five gallon bucket with you. They hold quite a lot and are fairly easy to carry. Another idea.... take a towel and put one half in at the waist and the other hanging down will give you something to wipe items instead of your clothes. Good day hunting!

Back to watch it in full this time... Looking at you doing the roundup, the figure with the raised arms and the red belt looks like Aladdin in the barrel as you've positioned it in a jar! Plus, because it's wearing what looks like an "arabic" tunic, I wondered whether the turbaned head you found might go with that torso? What a very exciting day! My favorite is the large seltzer - *with* a handle, so beautiful! And I was thrilled over the glimpse Kate gave of the bottom, because it shows the concentric curved marks where the potter cut it off the wheel with a wire or cord. I do a bit of pottery, and I love leaving that on the bottom of my cups and mugs. What a lovely haul, and wonderful to feel your excitement!

I used bottles I'd mudlarked at my wedding. Used one of the white polish bottles, small brown dolly blue ones and a lung tonic on each table with flowers in and they looked really good! Surprisingly, it didn't take too long to find enough of each bottle!

That is very sad to hear as you are also her family. Not to mention a grandmother to her children. Surely there is something you can take to improve your hands. In fact, I know there is as I did see a documentary where they gave this medication to a bloke and he improved so much. He was able to hold a cup without spilling the contents and pick up small items. I hope you can at least access a home care package. Cheers and best wishes all the way from Australia. What a wonderful haul -the best finds being those stoneware items with that German bottle you found Kate topping them all! Nice clutch of glass bottles, particularly the little wonky one with embossing. The dump definitely warrants another visit.

I can understand how you get so excited at finding all of those goodies. If I ever get to come over there I would need a suitcase for all of my treasures or it might be cheaper to mail them home not sure which. Or I could just buy an extra seat and put all my goodies in it. 😂

I'm not 100% but i think the cup with the sailors tear poem on it could be by Scott and Sons, Southwick Pottery, from between the years 1829 and 1841.

I really like the Sunderland jug shard! I found a similar one at a yard sale in NC . It has a quote from Byron on one side and the Weare bridge on the other,ca.1825. For a dollar!
