I use to play this game at the arcade all the time. Asking my mom for some money. As I got older. It was on sale on the PlayStation store. I bought it. Some years later, it’s gone! PlayStation won’t answer me on twitter why I don’t have it no more. I’ll never buy a game from PlayStation store again

I will defenitely do another playthrough im just not sure who yet. Rogue has the most moves out of all the characters and is super hard to play so not sure. Gambit is fun to play and has some flashy moves. Cable i havent tried. Psylocke ive tried she not bad just a little weak but fun nonetheless.

There is a few OpenBor games using the Super Star Wars Super Nintendo assets but i havent play tested them yet to see if they are any better than the original Trilogy on snes. Very difficult to improve on those games.

Oh cool, it's the game from my buddy Zvitor. Btw I am an OpenBOR /Mugen developer too, and I've recently release some games, maybe you will like them :) There is a fighting game, a 16bit boss rush game and a 8bit/NGPC beat em up game :)

Do not care for the hahahaha as he swings the sword, however this actually is a superior port compared to the excellent (8 Mega Memory!) Genesis version. More details, better resolution, color pallette is higher, voices during cutscenes, superior sound quality. My biggest gripe with the Genesis version is the poor collision detection. Is this port better in that aspect as well? Well done. I have never beaten this on my first try/life. Such a short, but sweet game.

Thanks 👍👍yes its difficult game to finish on a credit but i know it inside out from the arcade and i got a great run on this try. Collision detetion is good on this version its plays identical to the arcade but there is some sprite flicker most noticable on the final level while being carried by the robot snake. I actually liked the HAHAHA sound the only thing i didnt like about it is it can overshadow the great music tracks if you are mashing constantly. Other than that its a great looking and sounding game and i wish capcom could remaster it somehow with extra levels and new music tracks.

I think that was a feature of the original Japanese versions. the Japanese Mega Drive version also includes the 'Ha!' voice sample for the slash attacks.

Yes its arcade perfect. Theres a few differences the big one being this has the complete soundtrack so theres new tracks on level 3, 5 and the last level. I believe the Genesis version had the same soundtrack if im not mistaken but doesnt look quite as impressive as this port.

In porting arcade games, the terms "arcade perfect" or "arcade accurate" were often used to describe how closely the gameplay, graphics, and other assets on the ported version matched the arcade version👍

Well i had a good run until i met the final boss. The only boss who was maybe kind of easy was the first boss and Camilla boss on level 4.
