I mean ... everything you mentioned can be easily done with blackmagic design fusion studio (or davinci Resolve) as well. (I know nuke is better, but I like fusion😅)

Lol, judging from the state of vfx industry, being After effects vfx artist is good enough for me!

Dude, just don't be a prk. 99% of those who work with AE just don't plan on working in VFX in Hollywood, Bollywood, Wakaliwood or any other wood. Your whole approach to this video is just so wrong and misleading. Most of us use AE for fun or other professional things that happen not to be Hollywood films. Frankly I don't give a rats ass why you "quit AE". You say it like AE it's a bad thing to learn and work with. No, it's not, you're just being an a-hole. So, you got on working with Nuke and all. So great, wow, big achievement. Why don't you tell people you are now just a small wheel, a pawn in the whole VFX pipeline for a film and that most of the composed shots don't even get to be used. To say the least. So leave people work with what they have and AFFORD. They are special, they get the decisions for themselves, the trial and error, they are independent thinkers and directors. You are not like that anymore. Go ahead make your tens of thousand of views with your fancy video, it does not matter to the vast majority of us. Wanted to subscribe, but not anymore. Please, continue to exist in the pipeline.

Such a good VFX comper and editor that the audio volume fluctuates throughout the video!

node based work flow is a bit diff for sure from AE, however i usually end up using both, as there is some things that nuke wont help me, for free? sounds good , going back into my arsenal, we had a educational license when i was @ DAVE School, however after about 2 years even my pirated version of nuke stopped launching. Rn i use c4d and ue5 and ae / davinci. great video, compositing was why i went to DAVE School, just to find out i actually wanna focus on simulation.. good video, might be obvious to me however proly fascinating to most.. and honestly F ZEDEFOCUS, see i still prefer frischluft depth of field with a basic depth matte... Zlol my instructor had us invest in the "Book of Nodes" its like the encyclopedia of nodes.... lol 1200 pages... good video tho keep it up!

Hello Josh! May I ask, is the Godzilla project file or tutorial assignment included inside the Unreal Fundamentals course, or is it only with the Unreal to Nuke course? I currently have the Unreal Fundamentals course and I don't see any Godzilla assignments as of yet, if I am not mistaken. Thank in advance, and thank you so much for your knowledge as well!
@JoshToonen3 күн бұрын
Hey Roadwarrior! It's only available in the Unreal to Nuke Masterclass since we teach you how to composite those shots. Students of Unreal Fundamentals can get a discount on the course though! Check out the One Click Compositing Bonus chapter in Fundamentals and you'll find your secret link ;D
