Josh, when adjusting poses within UE5 with the control rig, is it pretty straight forward from one pose to the next? There's no weird arcing of movement when adjusting poses are there?

I've always kind of had the feeling that after effects isn't used to work on hollywood-type vfx. I've seen some amazing things done with it regarding compositing, but a lot of those masterpieces were heavily worked on in other programs such as blender which was the real impresser of the project. Although if anyone wants to learn beginnings of hollywood visual effects using after effects, I'd personally recommend watching a lot Film Riot's work on recreating movie scenes.

As someone who doesn't know much, if I wanted to make animations for a game let's say basic walking, shooting, ADS animations can I use this plugin or is this purely for film making?

Trying to work around mixamo animations is so much hassle when it's much easier to just make the animations yourself and practice. Having to wrangle baked keyframes is it's own skillset when it comes to working with mocap data, which I almost don't recommend anyone start with. It might teach bad habits and you don't actually learn how to animate with keyframes.

The tip with parenting camera, characters to something was good. So does that mean characters, props and camera you parented to a hidden object or shape? Because you said parent to the reference point of the scene so I was wondering if you could clarify if it was a solid thing or co-ordinates

A couple tips if you're having issues with collisions: 1. Make sure the object the particles are hitting have physics/collisions turned on 2. If your particles are piling up, check your collision settings. I changed Collision > Collision Radius > Radius Calculation Type > to Mesh. And that worked for me 3. Change your collision sparks to also have infinite Loop duration
