Wow thanks for the tour and explanation, we have the Gallagher system at my work but its looked after by another team. I see the Gallagher 6000 controllers you showed for sale on ebay, would it be possible for me to setup something like this at home if i can get the parts or would i need licences, support and so on?

Interesting how this system is configured. They allow a room to re-set their own smoke detector alarms, without activating any other part of the system (not even on the affected floor). I can understand there is also a heat sensor in the room to turn on the full building.... but how long does a fire have to burn from one part of the room before it activates the correct sensor to evacuate a huge building? Seems a bit counter-productive to the entire reason you have a smoke detector at all.

I know you coved that maglock in one of your other videos, but I was wondering if you had the model number for that maglock. I'm interested in creating my own access control system but it's been quite hard to find a maglock, may've found a place that will sell one to me but not sure, anyways thanks!
