I have the Canon branded adaptor and the Viltrox adaptor, that I purchased to use EF-S lenses on my Canon M6. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. Neither actually focuses well enough to produce useable images. That's with an EF 50 1.8, or an EF-S 55-250 or an EF 28-135 and not even an EF 75-300, So I know it's not the lenses (the EF lenses are working properly on my EOS 5D MIII). The kit EF-M lenses are working fine on the M6, so it's not the camera. I have not tried a speedbooster, so I can't comment on them.

I bought a Aria 2 RGB. It is impossible to open Diagrams and videos are useless.
@jamesb725 ай бұрын
I have the Aria 2 RGB and do you mean opening battery flap ? If you push/swivel from the bottom of main torch unit so it swivels round from the headstrap mount, you have to push quite hard first time. Then to open battery flap put your finger behind the edge above petzl logo/button and pull forward till you hear click and the battery cover just pulls open. I suspect you are just not pushing hard enough, do it somewhere warm so plastic isn't brittle and it will push round.

Ive tail wag, so bad cant fly on 2 , 180's i own off ebay here in 2024. Any hep from anyone appreciated
@jamesb725 ай бұрын
If you have tail wag on both, I'd check for slop in tail mechanism, turn gain down and finally try trimming blades down and balancing as those are most likely causes - they are quite twitchy so are you sure your just not expecting too much from small heli?

@@jamesb72 James glad u are Still Around !. Im learning. 17 year elec foam plane flyer. Have 150s,230s v2, nanos3, blades. The 150 an 180 interchange many parts. 150 has dedicated tail motor. I intend to include ur input as I fiddle with my 180's. Bought used all of em ebay cept the nano 3. Yea the 180's I have are beautiful Engineering, I think they were Sold on ebay for tail problems, yea Expecting pnp, no problems,, lol. Ill accept it is what it is. Have u seen the Horizion Hobby "700. Blade Infusion" just Launched, ? Regards John Prattville Alabama USA
@jamesb725 ай бұрын
@@oldmandoingstuff8997 Hi John, motored tail is much simpler and easier to maintain as tail generally either works or it doesn't, so can see why Blade are going that way - I think tail wag is something you can fly around to some extent, I still have a couple of MCPX v2s I fly indoors every winter and really enjoy the challenge but the tail is fairly sketchy - but I can flip inverted and hover around in small space, so works great for me and they owe me nothing. I do think if you have two 180s both with similar tails and you've checked no slop and played with gains then thats probably just how they are, but still great fun. Happy flying.

Are there height restrictions on this?
@jamesb726 ай бұрын
No height restrictions but armbands are NOT allowed so rapids are only for confident swimmers. The pool at the end is deep so need to be able to swim to the side to grab rope to pull round to steps.
@paulnormansellartist6 ай бұрын
Thanks for your quick reply. Are there height restrictions on the indoor slides? Sorry for all the questions it’s just my son has dwarfism and although he’s 13 he’s the height of a six year old. He’s a good swimmer but my concern is he wont be able to do what his younger sisters can do and that makes it awkward!
@jamesb726 ай бұрын
@@paulnormansellartist I don't work for Centerparcs, but at Longleat there are no restrictions on the indoor tube slides or the ramp slides. The only height restrictions from memory were the larger Typhoon and Cyclone rides in tubes - just googled centerparcs height and there is a list of rides blog.centerparcs.co.uk/posts/fun-for-all-at-the-subtropical-swimming-paradise.html

Cool 😎 How are you finding the range and signal penetration? Done the FCC hack.? Mine loses video signal if I'm behind a large tree or if I've dropped too far over the horizon into a valley or gorge. 🤔
@jamesb726 ай бұрын
We're finding range amazing even behind trees or bushes but its been dry here (a wet tree is much harder for rf to get through iirc). Certainly amazingly better than the old analogue fpv gear I used a few years ago which would only cover a few hundred ft and would go snowy behind any obstacles). But we're staying vlos mostly and have distance limit set 1600ft and not flown behind terrain only tree's/bushes.

I just installed a standard servo connector (futana).spliced into the wiring than use a field charger to charge the battery and than install the battery in the transmitter and your done.Make sure to set your field charger at 0.5 amps and 2 cell.It takes about 6 hours with a new battery.I just replaced my battery this way in my DX8.

Good tutorial. Just bought one and waiting for it to arrive. I have also bought a 90 degree quick release camera bracket which I can use to turn my TurnsPro 90 degrees to do tilt timelapses. (You need a 90 degree angle gopro mount and a gopro to tripod mount). Apparently 250g is the most weight you can put on the TurnsPro when doing tilt timelapse.
