Man, great job on the table top. Not a huge fan of the pipe legs but just personal opinion. Love the color and character

Thank you! I’m in the same boat with you on the legs. I would prefer to fabricate some heavy steel legs. Thank you for watching and for the comment!

I’m very curious if u are selling those jigs cause yours is actually responsible priced
@neanderthaloutdoors92024 жыл бұрын
120 dollars is THE most expensive bevel jig I have seen and yours is a simple design, most jigs sell for 50 - 80 dollars and more complicated designs so yes I can totally understand why people will not buy your jig, way to expensive, 30-40 dollars is more realistic.

Yep...you ramble on...you make lip schmacking noises...apologizing for the price of your jig...well mate that's just not on. I couldn't care less if you stuttered...or made noises because your dentures fell out running to the ablutions block. You sir are a craftsman and from one to another...that's $120 I'd spend. You've just gotta figure out how to make them in a bigger volume...but what I'll do is make your jig by just looking at it and refine it. Instead of one long tapered degree of 2.4.6.8.10 degrees angle plate...why not make angular feet attached by a cap screw. Set the locked in feet say 1" in diameter...Stainless solid apart from the internal thread of 2.4.6 and so on degrees. I'd put a 2mm dowel in there in or near the counter bore of the bolt head. Just for aligning the feet in the nominated degree choice. Once you machine the nominated angle...the feet have less surface friction to. I think your jig also need a pair of hand holding fixtures. I still think your jigs the best I've seen...and I've seen a bloody lot of them. Now it's time to build the da Vinci Cam Hammer to belt out some knife blanks. Don't listen to the negsayers...they find fault with everyone but themselves. A client now sadly deceased...well he'd come to my shop where I'd have 8 jobs going at one time...you know Buster...I like coming here unannounced...your benches are strewn with so much crap...but I know your working on 5 of my jobs. He was an Aircraft Engineer. He always wanted it yesterday and I charged like a bull when he came around to have a little recce. You know Buster...a cluttered Bench indicates a cluttered mind... that's you he said...but what's worse than that...I'm already doing a mental calculation of how much this Soliloquy was going to cost him...An empty tidy bench indicates an Empty mind. Give me your style any day. He'd sometime say...you're charging too cheap...double your price...as I'll be doubling yours. That 8man helicopter won't fly until you as in I design a bent and twisty tool to hold the door hinge nuts in place. I was the foreign order King where I was employed once. If your making one bracket...machine up 4...set up a repeatable drilling jig...worst case scenario...make the jig outta wood. It's a HOLDING JIG...Not rocket science...you da Man Broh.
