this album did incredible things for me, but the best thing it did was introduce me to the rippingtons, which has influenced the vaporwave i make greatly

I know this is 5 years late, but it does include all 2.1 gauntlet levels sooo. My list: 5. Polihedral - This level is not very interesting, doesn't work well with the song, has weird design and annoying gameplay. Pretty bad, but not terrible. 4. Skyward - This level is such a nothing burger, it's really boring and feels the same for the entire level, which is only 40 seconds long artificially increased to a minute by a really long endscreen. 3. Generation Retro - Not my least favorite, but not great. Unsightreadable gameplay and weird theming are the main issues that plague this level. 2. Payload - This level is so ugly I can't bear to look at it. The colors are so god awful and this level uses the freaking square orbs which you can't buffer, plus this level uses the predrop section of the song and ends at the drop, whyyyyyyyyyy! 1. Vibration - This level has really bad gameplay, I don't even think it falls under the tier of "generic level" because that's not where the main issue lies. This level is an 8 star with random hard demon difficulty spikes and this level is just so awkward and annoying to play. My least favorite gauntlet level.

Finally! I'm glad I'm not the only one who didn't like this episode. I watched it with my siblings a few months ago and I honestly thought it was mid. I'm well aware that lots of people like this episode. But despite this, even this episode has flaws. I was more confused than satisfied after watching it. It has moments of buildup that led to nothing, an underwhelming final villain fight that ends anticlimactically, no real emotion at all because most of the main cast don't get killed off (Minus Fern. R.I.P 😢 ), rushed relationships that felt like it came out of a fanfic, no development for Finn as a character, minor characters getting stuck at dead end office jobs after contributing to the final battle, and no closure to indicate that the show has ended. In other words, it is one of the most rushed cartoon episodes I've seen in my entire life. And do I have to mention that there are plot holes?

personal list: #5 - Mechanical Showdown - I don’t get why everybody likes this level. It’s complete garbage. Every single death past 50 just made me want to rip my hair out. (Also, weirdly enough, my attempt count for the Demon Gauntlet goes 1,166 to 5 to 473 to 5 to 4.) #4 - Shock - The level isn’t too bad, but the song is one of the worst I’ve ever heard, so it makes the level go here. #3 - Insert Any Level By ChaSe97 here - Chase quickly became one of my least favorite creators of all time when I was trying to beat the Gauntlets. His stuff looks really good, but plays about as well as a game of soccer but the soccer ball is actually just a painted bowling ball. #2 - Victim - Not only is this level super generic and boring, but it replaced one of the coolest levels ever made at the time (Dangerous Spikes by DeCodg) because “iT wAS tOo hARd!!1,1,1,1,” #1 - Scarlet Surge - I could dedicate a whole video to bashing this level, but I’ll keep it to one sentence. It’s bland, boring as hell, agonizingly long, the song is about as engaging as watching paint dry, the decoration is either boring or epileptic, and it feels like a waste of time if you die anywhere past the first ship. I disagree with the entire list (Generation Retro especially; that’s one of my all time favorites) but I still really enjoyed this video. I think your GD content on both here and StopStart has seriously stood the test of time.

i probably wouldn’t put generation retro on the list if i made this today, it’s a weird choice but it’s genuinely a pretty creative level at its core. i think everyone else will come around to it eventually too glad you like the video by the way, i was in kind of a bad place when making most of the post-stopstart videos but i’m glad people still enjoy them

First of all, Scarlet Surge isn't bad, it's just epileptic. Secondly, all of the levels mentioned except Anubis are really fun, even Generation Retro which is the easiest 6 star in all the gauntlets. It might be a bit controversial for me saying this, but I personally feel all these levels other than Anubis are really fun and well-made! Fire Aura is fun but it needs to be rerated to a 9 star.

don’t really agree ofc, but yeah pretty reasonable takes. scarlet surge has grown on me a lot too, my only issue with it now is just that it’s overly long oh yeah and i agree fire aura should probably be rerated, i just think blaming the level itself is pretty unfair when it’s more of an external issue

scarlett surge is the most hated gauntlet level but i like it bc of the style! about anubis yeah ik its hard but is not painful and annoying unlike kappaclysm..... and generation retro is mostly hard bc of the unpredictable bossfight attacks and fire aura is great of course!

This album really helped humanize the events of 9/11 for me. I always understood the situation but it never really hit me the sheer humanity lost that day. Gave me a fresh and heavy POV going forward and seeing others' 9/11 tributes.
