They look amazing but a real life encounter with them is terrifying they live up in trees makes leaves into there nest , usually in mango trees when you try to get the mangos if this nest is threatened or shaked a little bit good luck getting your mangos they will storm you out of the tree , there bits are painful not deadly

Надеюсь и верю, что на международном рынке муравьиного контента ты добьёшься большего успеха, чем на российском. Ты заслуживаешь :) Тут всё скукожилось, не только в муравьином смысле. Не сочти за критику, но не все же носители языка тебя смотреть будут, чуть улучши артикуляцию. Как-то согласные что-ли выделять, не знаю, приходится прислушиваться. И если ты пишешь текст сценария пока-что на русском, закинь его в субтитры :) Чисто для своего интереса прошу :) Спасибо за твои видео.

Underrated! And the insects inside can start rotting and it can hurt or kill your colony, smaller insects are better because they can later carry it out of their nest. I like your macro too

3:15 aha so you lifted it up out of the moisture. good ... but you got nothing to hold new moist. The before mentioned *Seramis* is fairly clean and easy to use. Worst case: add a layer of 'grid' on top. A mesh or so, so fungus can't 'sink into it' 4:18 and a pipe to bring in moisture. GOOD! A huge improvement.

5:15 another guy used those 'palettes' that save moisture... *Seramis* ? Those are hard and wont shift this easily when the mushroom gets bigger. Overall they can save more water. Also the mushroom will tilt from time to time since the belly will rot and be taken away by ants while the top grows.......... *shrug* 7:10 like this water can seep out of the sand and flood the mushroom. With those pallets you can make one layer and it sits on top with the moisture mostly inside/at the bottom.... There are many methods, sure, but as far as i know is direct contact with water for those rather deadly AND you should have a way to bring in moisture without lifting the lid (keeping the wet air

I had a similar experience. Althoug the fungus was healthy in my case, the qeen suddenly died after about 1 week. I ordered a new colony afterwards and it looks much better with this new colony.

I have a video how I made it. It's quite old but you just should replace sand with gypsum. There are also many videos on KZbin how to do it :)

Can tell you couple of things thats wrong. First platic containers kinda suck. Put plastic containers in a diswasher you allways end drying them off with a towl water sticks to it. Plaster you get mold but you showed that in the video. And the reason why they don't cut the leaves caus your humidity is waaaaaay to high. Leaves give more humidity. So you get water on your fungus and water and fungus makes the fungus shrink and then die off. Use glass containers then atleast. And instead off plaster use clayballs. Can give them dryed out leaves aswel. In your case they would have taken that over fresh leaves(=water) sinds again the humidity is way to high.
