Hi guys. While printing, an error message pops up that says 'print error' and the printing is being interrupted. Any ideas? The strange thing is that up to the printed layer, everything looks great and then it just stops printing with this message. I have tried cleaning up everything, using new resin (or even no resin at all with the same file) and leveling again, but still the problem remains. Any ideas?

My last employer had two Form Labs 2 machines.. I wasn't impressed by them at all.. though I think that could in part be due to how many people were using them.. or misusing them 🤔 I've got a CR-30, Kobra Max, I Mega and a Delta Kossel.. the Mega is my most reliable machine and that form lab experience is what has put me off adding resin to the list.. but I think this printer and its reviews have swayed me to buy...

Does the Eddy current sensor work with all types of bed materials? How about using a BLTouch-like setup with a smooth, metallic ball that moves slowly and continuously registers Z-axis displacement? It could perform an initial probing to adjust for any wear and use a random path to cover the entire area, so it doesn’t always drag over the same spots. Plus, the slow movement helps reduce noise. Or maybe a laser sensor, though it might struggle with glass or weird texture/colored beds due to refraction issues. What would be the most precise system?

The CPAP Fan intake is so wrong when you print you want a hot chamber and "hot air" from the Chamber for Fan(s) so when you print with ABS you cool too fast your layers and then your layer adhesion i like nothing
@frjavi738 күн бұрын
I read about this and I agree. Maybe a fix/mod could be put a hose from chamber out to Turbo fan intake. But is a problem not so commented in reviews or another forums.

Regarding maintenance and comparing hotend maintenance between S1 and Bambu is just not correct, one is delta and one is core xy printer. Completely different kinematics which in case of delta are surrounded with rods and you dont have so much physical space as on core xy printer.

20:10, Fisun was also deceitful in previous versions. Probably there is no 100% honest manufacturer. It seems to me that the problem is not with marketers, but with their followers, who are ashamed to admit that they are being deceived by those they fanatically pray for. The world needs adequate people who do not lie or conceal, who test and compare and share this data with other people. Thank you 🫡

great review! just a small note, you probably need a special pla that can melt faster to achieve 100mm3s, like polysonic for eg. one channel did manage to get it and it should be possible with such a large melt zone.
@freedomofmotion10 күн бұрын
Would you be able to test the max flow rate at higg temperatures? For example 260c PLA. I've seen lots of tests for flow rate but people are still using 200-210 c for the test which is way too low for high speed printing. Ny Kobra 2 ( with cht style brass nozzle) can just about manage 50mms³ at 260c 0.6mm nozzle But at 215 only just about manages 32mms³
@ygk3d10 күн бұрын
@@freedomofmotion I did that test and it wasn’t a considerable improvement. The test file they sent me was sliced at 230.
@freedomofmotion10 күн бұрын
@@ygk3d Thanks what was the max flow with that temperature increase? Also could you test with a CHT style nozzle please? I'm quite interested in the max flow possible since the CHT geometry in the block itself should be quite effective. Although perhaps it's too high up in the melt zone so ends up being restrictive itself? At any rate thanks for the very in-depth review.
@ygk3d10 күн бұрын
@@freedomofmotion I think it was maybe around 40, don’t recall exactly. Would definitely be interesting to add a CHT nozzle with the CHT heat block and see how that flows.
