can these exVacs still be purchased? I'm not finding them. We have old cloth type that fits a frame, sits into the cart, but it's torn really bad, and I don't know that I can fix it?? Thanks!
@paulfunk8172Ай бұрын
You'd have to find a used one. Mine came with the metal sides and I had to make the metal top. You might be able to find a trailer with the metal sides. Good luck.

Do you use it for anything or is it just a show piece

I just made it as a show piece. I have a Magnatrac as well as a McCormick tractor with a front loader that I use for actual work.

I had an article published in the Nov/Dec issue of Lawn & Garden Tractor Magazine that was pretty detailed with lots of pictures. I will eventually publish a copy of that article on my website, but I wait for a year after my articles are published in L> to put them on my website. Thanks for the comments.

Just picked up the sears version of this, i'll try to put it on one of my Bolens or Simplicity but if not, i'll just buy me a Sears SS or ST that it was made for originally. i grew up in a city with a 10'x15' yard, i left for the army and college, but came home and bought a house near where i hunted as a kid. Now im a 40 year old kid playing with garden tractor snowblowers, 3 point hitch implements, and stay outside every day. I love it.

How much does little bulldozer cost
@paulfunk81724 жыл бұрын
I bought it so many years ago that I don't remember. I think it was in the 2K range. If you do a search you can still find them for sale new, but they cost a lot.

It's cool but can it do more than a 4wd john deere 700 series?
@itsruf14 жыл бұрын
No. Not even close. I had a Deere 870 back in the 90's. It was gear not a hydro. I'm own a 2006-or-so 3320 now, full hydro drive, and can not imagine going backward to a dinosaur like these people on those dopey little things. The videos are amusing but they seem to like them as a hate it thing. The $25k model seems more useable but only for a few tasks. I have noticed they are always defensive if you say anything negative. Probably some have had their fatal heart attack down at the diner during morning coffee when another old timer compared his snow blower was faster.

For you negative commenters, He clearly said he only used parts that was already messed up, he didn’t ruin any good tractors lol.

@lista14404 жыл бұрын
I think the issue is the speed the tractor was cutting at in the really big stuff. That is probably where you'd want a low range creep setup to do very well with.

Love the tractor. And plow. What was the tractor originally from.

I had a model 100 frame (Cub Cadet) that I started with. You can read all the details of the build and tractor under the Special Project section of Cubcadetman.com. I don't know how it will work, but here's the link: www.cubcadetman.com/cc/special-projects/2009/05/the-mini-h/

Toward the end he said they were either frames that had already been hacked and welded by someone else, OR he made them himself. Then he went on to say the article about how they were built is in a magazine if anyone's interested.

I personally found this video pretty informative as I have a IH snowblower and roto tiller and have no idea how they connect to my recently acquired Cub Cadet/IH 124. Thanks for the time it took make these 'dolly' displays and to make / post the video in this time of everyone being a YT critic. Whatever happened to 'If you don't like the video, then move along'?

@SPCLPONY4 жыл бұрын
My dad had a large collection of vintage equipment. Mostly farming stuff like plows, drags, rakes, a few antique tractors and crawler/dozer's. When I was a teen, I used to roll my eyes when he came home with more 'junk.' Now I find pleasure in tinkering with all of his 'treasures.' Although I'd love to have one of these small sickle bar mowers to fit on my recently acquired 1962 Cub Cadet 124, I'm happy tinkering on his 3 McCormick Deering horse drawn 7 footers, a couple of smaller 2 footers?, and a IH model 100 balanced head sickle bar trailer. Last summer, a family friend gave me a Oliver three point hitch 7' sickle mower after I bought a decent New Holland 68 hayliner square baler from him. And now I have a small collection of lawn tractors and related equipment, haha!

I've got this ones little brother, a mini-dozer model 1612; respect it fully and this thing will run circles around any it's size or something bigger, but one wrong move; and you've got a nice repair bill, and that's if you do the work yourself
