28 just got fired at my custom picture framing job for selling a painting to a client I met in the shot and taking the sale out the store because he wanted to pay in installments. Dropped my contract at work and boss found it; said I was stealing from the company couldn’t believe believe it. Mind YOUZ that the workers/artists that hang art in the frame shop don’t have any contracts with that fuck. Either way I’ve worked at every frame shop in town. I’m solid. And the good people know my face. I know a trade that’s kind of going extinct aside from a few youngsters millennials/maybe gen z. I can chop join, design, and do the fitting. There’s one shop in town that does all the work for the local museum I’m in (ca state capital). And I want to walk in there but she’s a one lady shop and is picky snooty and don’t wanna fall on my ass. With that said I have the knowledge to start my own shop. Fuckin asshole ex boss was changing my withholdings without me knowing and I got fucked on taxes.

I never understand how there are seemingly droves of (relatively) young men who make over 150k/year and like all they know how to do is donate their money to other rich people online lmao. Maybe I'm sounding like a jealous little girl, but I am genuinely confused by how many dudes donate saying they are practically millionaires. Seems trivial, but don't be a grown adult who doesn't know how to reliably build a campfire. Lots of challenges in life follow the same tinder/kindling/fuel pattern. It's one of those skills that doubles as an analogy, which can make otherwise chaotic things look less complicated. Breaking and forming habits, building friendships, starting trends, pacing artwork, etc. are all fire building exercises.
