FO4 was definitely the weakest mainline game as far as writing is concerned, but it did have its moments. Shaun was manipulated from infancy to the whims of the Institute, but he's so indoctrinated to their cause that he can't see the wrongs he's committed when his own father is standing in front of him, let alone when he makes very cruel decisions against his own father. It's a shit sandwich and you have to decide how to deal with it.
