I currently drive for FedEx Ground. It's over 100° in TX and our trucks dont have AC so wearing pants to cover it is not an option. Sweat , dirt, sun you name it are issues. Excited to try this method for my new calf tattoo! Thank you.

Any website to get rotary parts such as frames that don't cost more then the ones that's put together? I'm in the process of making my machine but when I search it it seem I'm better off buying a new rotary or a coil machine that's put together then just the frames because it seem it cost more for some reason just for a frame which makes no sense to me

Hi. Thanks for the video it was pretty interesting. I'm a tattoo client myself and my tat from almost 2 years is all thick black lines and all of them are raised permanently. I was suspecting scarring as the artist was extremely heavy handed and it was so freaking painful. He is a pretty popular artist tho so I wasn't sure. But perhaps he needs to watch your video 😂. Anyways, is there any way to treat this? Make it less raised? And if I were to try to get some work done over it would it even take? Thanks

I was new to that, I wanted a sleeve and end up having a full forearm tattoo with a noob artist and few portions healed raised. it has been 3 years and I am living with a raised tattoo. My sleeve has been completed and my upper arm and shoulder tattoo was done by an expert and it ended well. but I really like to fix my forearm tattoo. is there anything I can do?

There is… But only a really skilled Tattoo) or can probably do it. It’s almost like micro needling over the top of the tattoo to reduce the scarring that’s there. there. I have a video about it if you search it out.

Hey could you elaborate for me on this subject? I'm in a state that does not require a license to do tattoos. I still need to check my county laws, but in regards to asking a client or the waiver, etc, are we ALLOWED to ask if they have these skin conditions and/or conditions such as hpv/hiv, any other blood borne illness, immuno suppressive disorders, etc? Then if we can ask, and they answer yes, what do you do from there regarding these clients? Are you legally allowed to deny services to someone with a disease that could be spread? And what about scoriosis? If you take time to answer these thank you for your time
@BetterTattooing
@BetterTattooing Ай бұрын
As far as I know you’re allowed to ask that they’re not required to answer. If they don’t answer, you’re not required to do the Tattoo. That’s the sickness stuff it’s up to you. I tattoo people with all kinds of conditions and I don’t allow anyone from coming into my chair, but that’s me if you’re not comfortable with something just don’t do it. Easiest way to avoid any issues.

Have been through a few videos now and have to say a massive thank you! Hands down has been the most helpful and informative series I've come across. Its really disappointing to see how popular some of these other tattoo tutorial channels are compared to this channel. Majority are just making videos for the sake of the video itself and not actually explaining things properly and in detail, I feel as though your genuinely explaining the hows and whys of tattooing with the pure intention of teaching people and not for the views. I hope more people who are passionate about the industry that want to learn find your videos and the channel grows, love your work mate!

This is sooo helpful, I'm so glad I found your channel! So would you suggest to slightly over moisturise overworked tattoo? Like x3 times a day? I'm apprenticeshiping and unfortunately I way overworked someone's skin in colour, now my mentor said to let it dry until scabs come off and then heavily moisturise whilst a Tattooed dermatologist I follow suggest moisturising. Honestly at a loss of what aftercare to recommend.
@BetterTattooing
@BetterTattooing Ай бұрын
Good question. It’s complex how to tailor an aftercare routine to a specific place, time of year, or even the client. There really isn’t a one-sized-fits-all approach to this topic. Rather than trying to find one way to heal all tattoos we should be defining a few things to help avoiding pigeon holes in our care routines. 1. How much trauma did we do to the skin during the tattoo? One dot versus 13 hours non-stop is different amounts of trauma so both should have different care routines. For the dot, little care is required. Literally the person has to avoid doing stupid things, like lighting the dot of ink on fire. The longer session is different though… if the person doing the tattoo didn’t overwork the tattoo or overly stress the skin then minor care is required to heal the wound. The client would need to make sure it says dry, free from dirt or grossness, and only uses enough moisturizing stuff to ensure the skin stays flexible. If the wound is severe more has to be done to care for it. 2. How healthy is the clients skin before the procedure? If you tattoo a 99 year old ex-biker the tattoo will heal differently than a 19 year old gymnast. More care and protection is required for wounds that won’t heal and deal in a short time. There’s a lot more to it than that but hopefully it can get you started on the path to thinking this stuff out

It's absolutely criminal how far KZbin makes me scroll through click bait/ garbage videos it wants to push on me when I started my search with better tattooing specifically, followed by a topic you not only cover in a video, but include verbatim in the title of said video which I was looking for. I'm also subbed and hit the bell icon ect. I get that you can use quotes in your search query to pull up more specific results and I could have gone to your page directly and then search from there but that's not the point. The first time I searched there was at least 10 other videos listed before yours along with the suggested shorts et al. After re-entering my search it was 20+ videos deep. There are some other good sources for some helpful tips or advice in regards to tattooing on KZbin sure, but none that come close to teaching a legitimate curriculum of credible and unbiased facts which is desperately needed on yt, especially since it's the only platform the vast majority of today's scratchers birthed from Amazon/COVID/inflation/etc will ever look on to find out what they need to know to be able to tattoo (safely.) I've been on KZbin since 08, and out of all of the terrible terrible decisions and changes Google has made, whatever they have most recently done to the algorithm to return such an abomination for search results is by far the most obscene, greedy, and disconcerting for so many reasons 😑 sorry for the rant but that's s*** has me so heated especially as a paying customer for 'premium' well.. WAS at least. If there's anything to do as a viewer to help increase engagement or whatever it takes to get these videos pushed up the results list to more viewers, I'd be more than glad to do whatever I can. partially just out of gratitude for what y'all are putting out here for free but even more so for the newbies out there who would have otherwise never even been suggested your vids at all, possibly going to some content creator from Tiktok or w/e who could be equally as ignorant + unqualified to teach this at all.
