I have 2024. What I don't like is that the steering wheel is made of eco-leather. He's very rude. The second point is when you drive at a speed of 25 or 30 km, you hear a noise, or it's electrical parts switching, or a battery. On the first day when I bought 0 km, the next day I went to the service for advice, and the mechanic told me that this was the NORM of switching. But it pisses me off!

Regarding performance: was the car set for "Normal" or "Chill" driving mode? That makes a huge difference to acceleration/power delivery!

Regarding one-pedal driving: should come to a complete stop no problem when you lift your foot. There is a setting where you can turn this off - maybe the previous driver had changed this setting??

It was set to one pedal driving and a complete stop. It just took ages to whilst others cars would get there sooner/shorter.

Regarding phone integration: you can have phone messages display on the car's screen, and also dictate responses using the car's voice recognition. You can also use the phone as the source for music as you can with apple carplay.

Set up bedore you drive is a good phrase. In my case, i got my setup right within the first day of having it so its very rare for me to go into a submenu. Pretty much everything i need is in the bottom banner.

Thank you. With the growing trend of large infotainment screens which control all the functions you do need to take time to set up everything as there are so many menus. So always make sure you’re all done before you get going.

Regarding difficulty reading the screen text - there is a setting for small or large font size - did you try the setting for large font?

The Tesla hasn't got Radar guided cruise it's camera's only. There is no Radar.

It is quick and responsive, but yes it “feels” very much like an EV.

the 2024 update is awesome. Its comfy, quiet and fast. Pre-2024 models kinda sucked. I test drove all of them so I feel i that my comment is valid. Unlike some people that just think they all suck with no experience with them. The juniper update when it comes out will keep on cannibalizing sales from other manufacturers. Great vid and hope you continue to enjoy the vehicle for it's lifetime.

Not really sure why so many people are in love with this car. I considered one of the Tesla models, but after test driving a few, I was not impressed. I mean, other than it being very fast, the driver seat was a little uncomfortable, and that was just a 15 min test drive. Also, the road noise was not great, especially at this price point. I'm sure people must like the interior, but it looks more like a spaceship than a car. Compared to the Ford Mustang EV, which has better quality, I don't get the Tesla craze.

@@EwanM11 I am Model 3 Performance owner and i have also owned a few Porsche 997 3.8L, 981 3.4L BS, 718 CS etc and i bought Tesla M3P to replace F80 BMW M3 and i will never go back to BMW again. Tesla M3P is just in incredible car.

Fantastic review. I've been in a couple, and agree, the minimalism is almost too much. It's the supercharger network that gives Tesla their edge. Not a cheap thing now, with so many good EVs coming through now -- not least fantastic smaller offerings like the Kia EV3.

I currently have a 2018 Qashqia N-Connector and are looking to upgrade after Christmas. I’m stuck between either a newer Qashqia, Tucson, Kuga or a 3008. I want mid trim to maybe a trim above but don’t know which one to go for. Looking around a 2023 model.

Interesting to hear about the first 2 gears being locked in EV mode even when battery charge is low. Great for pulling out of junctions and cruising through McDs drive-in in 'stealth' mode! Driven most of the competitors and the Juke is by far the best fun to drive and has the best driving position and most comfort.

Going to test drive at the weekend.looks a nice car.just want something good on fuel and cheap to insure. Currently drive a vw golf.not to bad on fuel.but costing me a fortune to insure.and for what I use the car for going to work and back and doing weekly shop the bayon will be just fine.if the test drive goes well and I get some good equity after selling and paying the balance off on my golf and get a good monthly PCP deal Going to opt for the premium trim.just can't decide what colour.mangrove green or dragon red.

Great review. Just received my new Sportage GT Line S from the dealership. A really nice car, the only niggles I have are that KIA has reduced the power from 226PS down to 207PS, reduced the towing weight to 1,360kg for caravans (braked trailer) and no wireless CarPlay, even though this is a feature on models in other countries, just not the UK.

I love the purposeful shape of the Santa Fe. I have a Hyundai and love it. Amazing economy and smooth drive. The Santa Fe looks to be a similar story - and great internal room. Quite pricy though. Great review Dave. By the way, I have the same engine and gearbox in my Ioniq, and it is a bit of a bind that the manual override in sports mode (both flappy paddle and the gear selector) isn't really an override, as you observed - but it does help economy!

Thank you for the comment Nigel. Big and boxy really do help. Although it looks pricey it is actually competitive in the segment. Especially as rivals look good on paper but you have to add option packs and that will boost the price. I understand what you mean with the flappy paddles. With these types of cars, Sport mode will be rarely engaged.

I have heard a few comments about the Santa Fe looking GM, like a Discovery or the Ford Flex. But in the metal it’s a beautiful car though jury is still out regarding the rear. I know with a lot of these cars now you can get a QR code for the manual. But I understand that some of us are still a little old fashioned and enjoy the book pack. Also yes, the colour choices available is wonderful, inside and out.

The modes make no difference to handling .... unless you have air suspension which currently Audi UK don't offer. You said it was Pre-Sense slowing the car when on cruise. Pre-sense is to want to take control if it senses an imminent collision. The component of Adaptive Cruise Control that can adjust the speed for bends, roundabouts, speed limits are is the Driver Assistant function called Predictive Control. To get full electric seats you have to order the Technology Pack Pro for £5k!!! I hate Audi UK's preference for packs and wish they'd let us chose components like in Germany. I fear the MY2025 options will be even more restrictive
