I remember when I first heard of Ralph Motel. A guy was singing some of his songs. I had found him because I like folk music. I listened and fell in love with the lyrics. Oh man, what a writer. I looked Ralph up, and since then, bought his book, and several of his cds. Ralph, I'm not sure if you read comments, but I enjoy your work. I admit I am sad you are an atheist. God is real. But I enjoy your music. Thank you;

Turn to Jesus He loves you, He is the healer of the body And savior of the soul, There is True Hope in Jesus, God protects Psalms 91 He is the God of miracles Acts 2:21 And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved Jesus alone saves Trust Him with your salvation John 3:16 1 Corinthians 15 1-4 Moreover Brethren, i declare unto you the gospel which i preached unto you, which also ye have received, and with wherein ye stand By which also ye are saved, if you keep in memory what i preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain, For i delivered unto you first of all that which i also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures And that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures, Take care

A beautiful song which will last for ever, the problem is we all see the lost, the lonely, the homeless and I was 30 when this song was written, I am 80 now, nothing has changed. Please Lord give us compassion for these your people.

11s are very light on an acoustic - I had a J50 for years and used 12s, which I now also use on an old Martin Dread. Also, the "luthier's knot" is not used by a lot of techs - contrary to popular belief, there really is no need (they say) to "knot" the string. Opinions differ.

This is a message to whoever controls Ralph’s KZbin channel. Some of his most recent videos can’t be saved on Playlists to enable us to easily find and enjoy the songs again. This is as a result of settings saying ‘Made For Kids’ I also post KZbin videos and that setting is misleading. At first I thought if I chose ‘No, its not made for kids’ that was effectively saying its not suitabke for them (ie: adult content) But that’s not the case, what chosing ‘Made Fir Kids’ does is say it is specifically made with kids in mind, and that it is the main target audience, so for example would be on the KZbin kids which mainly has cartoons I recommend changing settings for ‘The Unknown Soldier’ and ‘The Things You Wish Yourself’

I sang this song in public some years ago in my teens, now age 63 I still play it to my children and grandchildren, I could afford to get the music then and had a recording off the radio that I tried to get the lyrics from, when I played in pubs people said that was good and you must have changed some of the lyrics for copyright, but it wasn’t that it was the recording I had,I guessed some of the words and yes some were wrong but it sounds ok 👍, thank you Ralph and all the very best ❤

This song needs recording ... with new lyrics as the current is so depressing. I was born and raised in London. I want a song with the same chorus but with an upbeat lyrics. Then .,... LEAD YOU THROUGH THE STREETS OF LONDON ... every time I hear those lyrics I well up a tiny bit.
