Ralph was my inspiration to pick up the guitar in 1986 at the age of forty....I've played every day since and will never play like my hero but to learn his songs and be able to play them in my own style has given me a wonderful part of life that I will be eternally grateful.

At a young age,I came home,to find My R.I.P. father Willem du Bois in our garden at an odd time! He was together with a friendly man with a guitar! My late father, had a habit of teasing Me. He ordered Me to introduce myself in English! And I got a friendly likewise. And a hint, fm my father, You like the song about the streets of London, don't You!? Song played for Me , I never forget! I have been for some reason very early into deeper meaning of lyrics. Been fm young age blessed to meet many artists. Nowadays; I have to struggle, have to recover(accident!) And have to find a place of My own again. I am blessed with friends and family. Nevertheless; Streets of London are My streets of Rotterdam((Netherlands) I wish You all the best. A home. Peace of mind. Kind regards, Rene du Bois
