Do the bearings require aome special lubrication? What stops the grease cooking out and the motor seizing?

Fun bit of knowledge - OEM parts are still made in Chinese manufacturing sites, but their quality standards are audited by the company they're contracted by. They have an incentive to meet the standard so they don't lose out on contracts from big car companies. These people make parts that are 99.999%+ without defects. The knock offs that come from China are basically due to small business owners who reverse engineer OEM parts and build them as cheap as they can. There is no quality check for each component or process. They're basically like backyard mechanics who charges $500 to rebuild engines. These guys make parts that are anywhere between 70-99% defect free. So just like your backyard engine builder, you're rolling the dice on the outcome.

This video scared the crap out of me for the safety of the peeps in the video. They don't know the history of the engine, but they know it has been roughed up (been in a crash). They don't know the integrity of the bearings, or the disks, yet they walk in the rotor disk plane, and are in front and behind the engine while it is running. All I can say, is you don't want to be beside the engine if the turbine or compressor disk fails, or in front or behind if a bearing fails. If those parts fail, it would be as if a grenade exploded in the middle of the room.

All jokes aside I cleaned the frame on my 1989 Dodge Ram and painted it with tremclad black and within 6 months or less it was coming off and about a year later there was no evidence I had even painted it…😢

The key word is chinese knock off. The funny thing is there are many OEMs sourcing from China. So who's knocking off who? Well they are knocking off their OEM neighbor. How do you think they get the parts to look the same? China is known for a culture that doesn't respect intellectual property rights and employees are sharing CAD designs. If you did that in the US you would go to prison.

What does an OEM part look like inside? I have used cheap parts very successfully on my beater cars for many years. Not sure why I should have paid two or three times more money, especially when the OEM part was junk to begin with.

When you buy the lowest price, you better be ready for something to go south. If everyone could make the best for less - they would! Quality costs a bit more.

OEM is a safe bet unless it's a part known to fail. At that point, you can probably find a few subreddits on good aftermarket replacements.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I’m assuming your using the gator clips to apply a power source to the motor but for the motor to spin it would need constant power not intermittent power from you applying and removing the negative lead constantly I’m not saying that circuit board wasn’t poorly made it looked like shit but I don’t think you were testing the motor properly but I welcome other opinions??

You technically do not need primer when painting over a painted car, but you do need to sand it first and obviously clear coat it. This paint job will not last.
