Even through the audio that the microphone picked up, those bearings definitely sound bad!

Huge thanks to Matt and also Todd! Now we know. Hydro diesel is not yet available in many places. Hope the greenies won't mandate this else planes will be flying low and slow. Good luck with changing the bearings, your passing of knowledge would justify a patreon.

I agree that pushing new fuel types through engines not designed for them is kinda a terrible idea lol But completely discounting the potential of hydrodiesel is also a terrible idea. If identical performance can be had with an engine designed to run it, then fuel costs and therefore ticket prices can be dramatically reduced, which is a big win for commercial aviation. The environmental upshots are nice too, but making aviation more viable when it's struggling right now is great.

Ah that sucks... I thought one of the engine runs sounded like the engine spooled down a bit quickly... Are you making a video on the replacement? Or is it non serviceable?
