Thank you for the video, brother, but I have a question. When you put the delay effect on the clip, it causes a change in the pitch or a glitch becuse to the tempo track. Is there a solution for that? Thank you.

This is such a good resource, but the ranges became confusing when middle C is usually named C4 instead of C3. I had not realized there is some controversy over this.

Do you sell those string arrangements, in midi? Bass? I would buy them if you sell them!

Why do you call the 1st C on the piano C0 instead of C1? I was always taught that middle C is C4 as it is the 4th C

I appreciate the initiative for explaining this nicely As self taught composer, I see this video very useful Thank you

I think that we probably still play the old pieces very much like they were intended, because we never stopped playing them. So each orchestrator would have a memory of past performances to draw from.

A good genre of music to explore tempos with is ragtime. Most performers play ragtime fast and lively. But slowed down to a moderate tempo, the syncopated accents are heard better, making the music fuller and more expressive. "Ragtime should never be played fast." ~ Scott Joplin

Human vocal registers: "chest and falsetto"?? Violin mid-range: "less bold, but projects loudly"??
They’re two totally different things. Swing is to do with quantisation, track delays are offsets from the grid.

Great content, but C4 is middle C. I've not encountered music calling for an E below middle C.

The register detail is so useful. It’s the kind of thing that is learnt over many years orchestration, but to have it explained like this is very useful. The history section was absolutely brilliant. I loved it so much. Please do more of this. Basically, you’re compressing two years of education into three minutes. Good job!

OMG! Clara.... sounds so good, we just can't get close to the real thing with samples... I was using samples in my music and stopped making tracks with them, decided to start leaning the Cello and made a choice to not upload another piece to KZbin until I could play and record my own parts, that was 14 months ago, it's not and easy instrument to play and make it sound like Clara does, total respect, amazing sound! 😀
