Ugh, I love this scene so much. Especially if when he talks to you earlier about being "naive" in Act 2, he says, "Well, I just mean you have a big heart," him bringing up Tav's heart (kindness) here is a nice callback. I did want to comment on one thing as far as triggering this scene goes: I'm pretty sure you can get both spawn encounters, this one and the earlier flophouse one. The playthrough I'm following they got both. I read it was you had to rent a room in a certain inn to get this one here (I forget the name). Not sure I've ever seen anyone say you have to skip one scene or the other, but maybe that was something that was addressed in updates? Either way, far as I know skipping the flophouse or not has nothing to do with triggering this scene, and it's fine if you don't care about skipping one or the other, I'd just hate to think of anyone to feel like they have to pick one or the other (unlike the two versions of the confession).

He totally looks like Spike in another complete alternate universe--as elf and vampire. I just got this scene in my playthrough! I'd seen other playthroughs get it and like Shadowheart or someone else is the one who was like "Is the plant bothering you?" But I had her, Astarion, and Karlach in my party for this and he was the one who checked in and was like, "You good?" It was a nice little unexpected moment, and very tsundere coded. He might as well have said, "It's not like I like you or anything, baka!" 😂

The trigger for this scene is so odd! I just got it for the first time with my third play through, but I hadn’t talked to Zorru or Sazza yet, however I have talked to Kaghka and Nettie to try to have her cure me so it’s very odd.

Excuse me. Tav makes noises. I know astarion does his little noise when he kisses which is 🥵. But I’ve never heard Tav before 😩

The faces he makes while we choose our dialogue options is so telling. Though now it’s more closeup while he gives you his lines. I barely got the game in March. So there a certain angles I never got to see prior to any patches.

If I was in his place, I will obviously be cautious and doubting to people... "Fixing" him is one of the great things you can do in his story arc ❤ I romanced him with a Female Tav Paladin of Devotion to really suit the "I can fix him" scenario LMAO

Is it just me, or does he seem paler in this first day than for the rest of the game? Is it the sun giving him a tan? Or maybe now that he’s free he can finally get more blood to drink and some of the color returns to his face as a result? I’m not going crazy, he IS paler at the start of the game, I swear…

I miss the way they used to have their mouths move. I know that's strange but these are so fluid and now as mutas I love it sometimes it looks odd
