I like it but prefer a straight 2 inch over the 1 1/4 inch to 2 inch compatibility.

What exactly did you do to make it work? I ordered one from InCycle, plugged it into my Gen2 Levo, nothing. No beep, no display, nothing.

It's unfortunate, but purchasing the incycle tcu2 won't work on gen 1 gen 2 or even gen 3 turbo levo's that did NOT already come with the tcu2 installed. If you have the standard tcu (blue lines) that tcu is tied to your motor's serial number. A specialized dealer needs to basically remove that serial from the old tcu( if its a friend / they can just remove it and give it to you so that you can swap back and forth), and then they need to reprogram the new tcu2 with your bike/motor serial number. This is the only way to get it to work. I say it's unfortunate because recently specialized is now preventing dealers and LBS from doing this as the TURBO STUDIO software they use prevents this option. In the past, when a tcu1 would break, they only were able to replace it with the in stock tcu2, so they allowed the serial updates. Now they don't. - Specialized tech

Wow, thirteen years ago, but Curtis still going strong. I'm in the queue for a build by Retrotec in this Classic style. I like how the seat tube and head tube are parallel, while the down tube flows in a gradual curve to mimic the front tire. The only thing I'm going to specify is that where the top tube meets the seat tube and the pair of tubes that give the Classic its style, that this juncture of tubes be a little lower down on the seat tube. This will give a little more stand over height, while flattening the arch of the twin tube that proceeds back from the seat tube to the drop out. Also, it will give the top tube a more of a downward angle as it meets the seat tube. That profile, more rakish in look would be the ideal look for my Classic.

Okay so he literally said that with pressure on the pedals, the lower link doesn't move and it has less travel. When tf are you riding without your feet on the pedals, you constantly tension the chain. The only time you'd have been able to get use out of the lower link is while youre in the air, not while jumping or landing, but the few seconds when youre in the air and your suspension is useless. This was designed for this specific presentation/to be interesting on showroom floors

When I saw your video 3 years ago I was excited. Now these devices are finally available. Can you update your video to show how to install and update these devices to operate on LEVOs and Creos would be useful.

question: can you combine a double with someone else's single, or a double with someone else's double? E.g. to combine and carry 3 bikes or 4 bikes on a SINGLE VEHICLE.

Hello Francis 😊we like your specialized videos here in Lytham st.Annes Lancashire on the Levo and kenevo do you think the tcu would work with my 2019 kenevo if I could retro fit it to my top tube it’s got the newer brose motor and harnesss. Also you Seam to be clued up can you think of any way to have a twist throttle as well. I’ve geared up my front chain ring and deretricted it it feels like it could be geared up more I’ve been considering a hub gear system with no derailleur probably enviolo with the auto change and override giving unlimited ratios etc. would a range extender give me more power as well as range. I think it would be one awesome build!!

Would try these tires if they didn’t have the ugly red logos. They should have kept with the grey sidewalls so you could mix and match tires through their line up

Such a great design. The bike feels so stable. You don’t realize how hard you’re working to stay on the pedals with other bikes. You have to ride one!

Great elaboration sir. It is just very funny that all these bugs are flying around. :) Yet thank you for your explanations. I prefer flat pedals, and use Crank Brother and Brave. Which are very similar but Brave is a little more beautiful in design and comfortable standing, the Crank Brother pedals are simply great, little smaller sizes though, I use big shoes so prefer bigger pedals. You forgot to review in the titanium pedals, which can be great as well, and when I use them all I tend to be in line when hitting rocks, with your statements, composites damp the impact better, than comes titanium, which damps as well but a little less, and than aluminium. As for price, durability, design and comfort as well as function I go with Brave pedals since they have models with three bearings the XL flat pedals are awesome, aluminium, come in great colours, and are durable and reliable they come with great pins, also more pin holes so are fully adjustable, pricing is like 10 USD more than Crank Brothers yet as for all over comfort I simply choose Brave pedals. Great questions you posed as well as what type of ride, what type of terrain, what type of riding style, and durability, rebuild ability etc. Very well done sir. Thank you for your great reviews.

Well, in the end, it's actually Vittoria's review here, not yours, which is a bummer..we want more independent reviews, not company backed ones or full-company ones like the one we see here 😔😔

This is not backward compatible because the tau is linked with the bike’s serial number, and the control on the gen 2 doesn’t have a p1 and p2 button

A friend of mine tried it in his 2019 levo. It wouldn't work riding it, it went into limp mode.. only way to update software was if you owned a newer Levo to use that bike. Then swapTCU back to older levo.

It’s not backwards compatible, I’ve asked at my local specialised dealer and the actual tcu is linked to the bike’s serial number, has anyone seen one for sale that’s not on a gen 3 bike? I very much doubt it
