Greetings, Paulette. Jonathan, producer here. Frances was deeply conflicted by the events shared here. Miles was certainly the love of her life, and yet, he had issues that were never dealt with properly. It's tragic, and yet all true.

Dear Carol Kaye, thank You for Your clear, unmystifying comments on how You managed a life, deeply related on making music, but respectfully staying tuned to lifes duties and necessities, to keep up clear minded empathy as basis on not only good musical participations, relations and realizations. (a long first phrase as intro to my theme, isn't it ?) In an unsentimal moments view, we all know that we live from iles of good environment (good in the sense of soul) and a saving income (no matter highly degreed or not, even parttime if sufficient). No need of dramas, "to assure" that this is a "pure musicien" as an "impressing", while commercial clichè. It is not a brand of being highly adapted by mothers (or fathers) pressure to care for these upper mentioned essentials...especially to stay tuned with all these three essentials, accepting waves of priorities without loosing the others out of the view is a every day "business" and inspite of feeling obliged, often kept up by compromizes that do not always satisfy...isn't it ? (and with no time or luxurias energies for inventing "attentions attracting" dramas...)....(not to be identified with real needs of friends empathy and support !) So let me say: Thank You for this, what You stand for "beside" Your therefor empathic way to make music...

Seems like a cool guy. I've only watched the first three minutes, and I don't even know what kind of music he makes. I only got here after hearing about TBHP from a short of Joey Burns. It's weird looking back just these four years back at covid. In so many ways, it feels like a lifetime ago. Glad we're out of it.

At 46:55, Carol came right out and said it, if you download her material without paying for it, “you’re a thief”. This statement has broad applications, my sisters and brothers. When I heard this interview the first time, just learning to play, I knew I wanted to learn from her. And after 47 minutes of the interview I KNEW I would pay her for what I used. And I did. Gladly. Even though there is no shortage of pirate options. Screw pirates. Only in Disney movies are pirates anything but thieves and other much worse things. Carol is a gift to our world. I so totally want to learn how to do what she does. Just a mind blowing talent, and historical giant. Thank you!

Really inspiring stuff. As someone who has made thousands of sleeves by hand I can appreciate the time, effort and care that goes into it…and obviously the dude is a musical visionary.
