I mean what the fuck dude??? are you kidding me? since when having a masterpiece full of bangers like NEX GEN is too much to take it all in so you don't listen to it much? really? lame excuse!!! and since when do you like falling in reverse album more than nex gen? woaooo!!! bizarre taste!!!!🤔 bilmuri......I saw them at the 02 opening for sleep token and I just was shocked at how grotesque that band was. A chubby guy in shorts, no bass player but a sexy girl playing the saxophone instead.....I mean seriously????!!?!?!?!?!? and the music.......🤦♂ dreadful!!!!!!! is that a metal band? really? I mean no offense!!!! but if you like bilmuri album better than NEX GEN then you have a big problem in your musical taste mate!!!🤣🤣🤣 just saying trust me!!! I think you should reconsider your top 10 for your own good. nex gen should be in the top 3, at least!!! FROM ZERO should be much higher and a chubby guy in shorts and a saxophonist can't be at the top of a metal list ever!!!!!! I mean come on!!!!!

Dude I haven't listened to this band since 2012 when they dropped their debut album The Ascent when they had Xander on unclean vocals and Richard on cleans. I'm assuming the member lineup is completely different now cause this sounds nothing like the Secrets I listened to back in the day. This is a banger! \m/

MORE...REACTION FROM THE BAND SECRETS
@FrostTyler14 сағат бұрын
I was a lapsed LP fan from the 2000s and early 2010s, and this album brought me back. Emily's voice is incredible. She doesn't have quite the same intensity that Chester had, but her softness brings something to the band that really speaks to me. I love everything about From Zero, and I'm stoked for their future projects.

I must come back this reaction video at least once a month, not just because the album is so amazing, but just to see Steve's reactions to the new songs. Especially Steve's laughs at the end of Euclid to try and stop himself bursting into tears. ❤

Glad you checked this out! Iridescent was definitely better than Superbloom, that said I think my favorite 2 songs from SP were on Superbloom. If it makes you feel any better about the clean vocalist he had a kid and left on really good terms and still performs with them sometimes and was credited as a producer on Superbloom so I wouldn’t be surprised if he is back in some capacity in the future, sounds like they’re all still really tight.

Came here because of your Year end review Steve, and boy am I so happy that I did! Thank you for introducing me to this band, I am an instan fan and would love to see them live! So many influences but yet so deliciously unique! Been playing the EP and new single on repeat whenever I can, absolutely love everything about this band and their amazing music.

Great reaction, I'd totally forgotten about this song so thanks for the reminder! Since you're into pop rock I'd love to see your reaction to a band called 'In Angles'. Criminally underrated IMO and the album they released a few weeks ago is my joint AOTY, along with AMERICAN MOTOR SPORTS. If you'd be happy with just audio I'd recommend 'Unguided', otherwise the only new song with a video is 'Trench'. Merry Christmas! 🎄🤘😀

If you want to react to more of their stuff i would recommend some of their older songs with the old vocalist. Like "Self Medicated", "Octane" or "Fools Paradise". One with the new singer that i also really like would be "Hole Hearted" which is a bit heavier compared to Renovate.

Hello there, by showcasing these bands through your demonstrations, you're not just presenting their talent but actively promoting them to reach a broader audience. Your efforts are commendable, and you're doing an amazing work.

Saw these guys open for Like Moths to Flame at Station 4 (RIP) in St Paul back in 2012, and it was incredible. 2009-2014 was a golden era for metal/hardcore in my opinion. I’m slightly offended at the comparisons to Knocked Loose though. Jerry’s vocals are a million times better than Bryan’s, and the two bands are on opposite ends of the spectrum imho.

Idk man what I loved about them was how insanely unique they were lyrically and musically. But now they’re more commercial aimed and the lyrics are so generic that it’s difficult for me to get into. That being said, I’ve listened to the band since CWCW and I’ve loved almost every thing they’ve produced

Bilmuri hit #1 for me finally after being #2 the last 2 years to Sleep Token. Bilmuri Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! (Deep dive) Spiritbox Sleep Token Thornhill Songs: Obsession - Thornhill Emptyhanded - Bilmuri Spinnin You Around - Bilmuri Better Hell - Bilmuri Sunkiller - Spiritbox (the start of my driving playlist) 2016 Cavaliers also made my top 10. I expect Poppy to make my top 5 again next year. New album slaps.

Only started listening to Bilmuri in October and American Motor Sports is my rock AOTY too. If I'd started listening when it first came out, no doubt it would have dominated my most listened to tracks also. Solid, incredibly fun album.

I appreciate your "subjective" rationale, and love your admission that favorites changes daily at times. I had a similar experience as your 156/Silence last year with Invent Animate's 'Heavener.' Everyone was hyped on it but it sounded mostly samesy to me. But I kept coming back to it and by mid Fall it was tied for favorite with TMBTE and dominated my Spotify Wrapped. In some ways those albums are the best. I hope you continue to give the BMTH album more plays because I think it's going to age really well--so so much of their back catalogue.
