The chorus didn't strike with me at first either, but now that I've listened to it a few times, it's starting to grow on me. I like that they're trying new things, won't work for everyone but hey, that's music.

Honestly think it's the best of the singles so far and both Creature and Sulfur are insanely good edit - now that I'm towards the end of your reaction, you're right that Mat feature makes the chorus that much better. I think when you mentioned you weren't as enamoured by the chorus it's just building to a progression in the chorus at later parts in the song. Chorus is so good imo. How you feeling now, 2 days later!?

The melodies and composition are nice, idk why the first chorus felt so weak layerwise, and the vocal performance in the first chorus didn't sound like the "final take" imho. After Matt joined it sounded really nice and the next chorus sounded fuller, idk about the mix on the vocals in this... Matt's tracks were mixed better for my ear, but idk about Florent's takes. It also felt like the vocal tracks were not as connected to the instrumental, from a mixing pov... but again, it's subjective for my taste and ear. It's a grower tho', after a few listens I got more used to it.

Yeah the chorus is definitely weak, especially coming from LANDMVRKS. One thing I loved about their previous album was how catchy it could be, but there I don't find it energetic at all
