The amount of pure joy this band is. It’s pure unadulterated fun.

Love how, after the elevator music, the really heavy part right after just plays around the same melody.

Electric Callboy are genuinely one of the best things to happen to metal in recent years, they just bring pure fun and joy, especially in world that’s currently the way that it is. We need them and long may they reign 🫡

The “elevator operator” is Uke Bosse, an actor and professor of game design at the University for media design in Berlin. Imagine your professor is part of an Electric Callboy video. 🤣

I was at this shoot, but only heard the last 60seconds (about 200 times 😂) so much fun to hear the whole thing, how well the elements blend - the skips in the synths and the rock instrumentals mirroring it is so well pointed out. Fun to rock out with you!

I think the key thing that really makes this song is how the interplay between the EDM and metal is executed. At heart this song is made up of like 2-3 different musical ideas which they recycle from section to section mostly by transferring the same idea to different instrumentation and / or combining the different instrumentations. That's what makes the songs transitions so smooth: when we move to a different section, it's actually the previous section all over again but recontextualized. It's just great songwriting.

Another uplifting and banger song from this band. Electric Callboy simply never disappoints. I'm looking forward to the Nova Rock Festival in Austria this summer. Finally new songs and live shows again. I'm still surprised that there are so few reaction videos of their more serious songs on KZbin. Compared to the more fun songs. @SteveO´G I don't know if you've heard Mindreader, Parasite or Fuckboy. Greetings from beautiful Austria!
