PRX international results have been slipping for quite a while, while the new NRG team has been doing good during recent tournaments. Unofficial tournaments but they were playing against respectable teams. I think it is still anyone's game. @@ToiletCleaner666

1. tenz was 16 or 17 at that time when he joined C9 in 2019. 2.he was in a unstable C9 with Mixwell, Koosta, Daps and Autimatic. Even S1mple can't carry that team 3.the na scene already dead plus the pandemic/valorant release put a nail on it..

@@kylemoore5637 sorry I can't remember Som was on c9. ⚫Tenz was benched from C9 Oct 2019. ( there was disagreement between him and the team with desired play style.) Tenz don't like the system and was forced to play on a different Role. Not even given enough time to learn the role against T1. ⚫Lockdowns 2020 ⚫Valorant Close beta April 7, 2020. best choice for NA players is Valo during Covid. Even Nitro played in Valorant he don't want to be away from family at that time. .

Nah not really. It was already pretty dead before val came around. The main contributors was c9 after the boston major and fns. The scuffle between members in the major winning c9 team killed that team and fns came in and made things more messed up. So stewie2k left the region to eu. Then fns came in from complexity and made things more complicated by snaking teammates or something then left c9. Then c9 had to scrape by with young players like tenz. By then i think every decent players from na was in eu then val came out and stole the rising talents and old players because a new fps tac shooter came out. Note that i dont know what fns did but a few players said that fns killed the na csgo scene @@VKey97 Basically val hit the nail in the coffin

I think the issue is that a LOT of tier 1/2 coaches can pull up the valo plants and make strats and shit but they are better off as analysts because they are NOT leaders. It's an intangible that i dont think enough teams value. Yea you have a mind for the game but can you prepare the guys for war (so to speak)? can you reset mental mid match? can you turn a half around after its gone to shit? can you keep the boys bought in on your vision? Do you have the drive to keep the young guys humble and focused? are you capable of communicating your vision in a way that the guys can understand? etc. THESE are what separate the analysts from the head coaches imo. A LOT of people in the scene can process information, and have good micro/macro vision. FEW can communicate it to a group in a way that keeps them bought in consistently.
