Why are there 2 videos of la Bergamasca by VOM?
@VoicesofMusic17 сағат бұрын
One of the reasons we make videos is to document the historical performance movement. It's important to see how people change their interpretations over time. We have a Pachelbel video coming soon that is very different from what we filmed 17 years ago.

An ad off facebook about an Iced tea brought me here... I was like hmm 😍 that sounds like Vivaldi Four Seasons: Winter... Looks up the song and poof here I am 😁. Initially my first experience with hearing bits of the song was with the Piano Guys mashup/crossover of Let it Go 😅... Oh god that would have been I think back in 2015/2016.

Cynthia Miller!!!!! F'n on fire!!! H.E. double hockey sticks YEAH!!!! (AKA heck 😯🤫)...😂 . Seriously though, she has amazing speed and veracity in her runs. Coupled with spectacular vibrato sporadically used , for it keeps is lively, and human feel to her playing.

I've been listening to Vivaldi since before I was born, my mother would play records when I kicked her at night. I have, for my entire life, told anyone who asked that my favourite 'song' is Vivaldi's Winter. I am VERY picky with interpretations, and refuse to listen to any that don't match the tempo and feel that I think goes with the piece. I'm not musically trained, I'm just picky. But THIS.... this is true perfection in a way I never thought I could find. There's such joy and playfulness in it, the violas and violins bounce, the harpsichord prances, I've been crying on and off while listening to this. There are trills I never heard before in anyone else's interpretations, and yet all the 'changes' from what I'm used to hearing seem to be precisely what was missing all these years.

This is my go to music, in the car, house, and out and about, especially when I want to sound others out! Oh to see the lead strings being so enthrolled in her music gives it such essence, life, and embodiment! The violin is the most splendid of instruments ; always evoking emotions. 🎯🎯🎯🎯❤️🌎 I would like to encourage everyone to look at the story behind The Four Seasons/Vivaldi🎯💥

Amazing music of Gods! This masterpiece sparks a passion inside me. It brings tears to my eyes. It calms my soul, calms my being and at the same time raises a fury of wanting to conquer the world. Four seasons is walking through life.

The first time I listened I found it painfully slow but I chose to give it a second chance. Gosh, the pace you chose is so perfect, it is like a knife right into my heart. I finally listened to it in loops over and over again.
