That sucks about the throwout bearing! The GT2 clutch should be worth it though, the turbo clutch is too mushy. I think my project is identical to yours now that you're doing that swap. Looking forward to seeing that next video once it's complete. I am lagging on mine, CV axle was ridiculous to get out, ended up buying an air hammer then upgrading that air hammer to a bigger one to make it budge. With that done I'm hoping to just get the engine dropped this weekend.

Wow that's wild that you needed that much force to remove the axles. Hopefully you get the e gine down this weekend. Since I was forced to drop the trans after having the entire car back together adding the GT2 upgrades were mandatory at this point. I'll deffinetly have an updated video for the what I hope to be final video of this series.

Great video. Sorry you couldn't get it started but I'm glad you figured it out. Loving the stable. E46 M3 and 997 Turbo are a match made in heaven.
