Great lecture. But Very disappoining. He never mentioned the group responsible for launching the propaganda smear campaign that turned Americans against Germany. The same type of outrageous and disgusting lies they used to demonize German soldiers, claiming that they tossed babies in the air and impaled them with their bayonets for fun, are the same type of lies they accused Hamas of committing. The beheading of 40 babies. Systematic mass grape and removing the breasts of women and tossing them around for fun. Absolute and complete fabrications. None of it happened. Lies created to wage horrifying wars of aggression to steal land that does not belong to them. with no regard for human life from the elderly to infants. They spare not. Every accusation they make is a confession of crimes they commit themself. You will know the tree by its fruit.

The idea trade with China being an incredible opportunity is a delusion didn’t hold up well. 2:02:00ish. Funny after all the lecturing about “racism bad,” guy didn’t see the prejudice in his own thinking. Otherwise a very interesting summary of global politics and history of the 20th Century.

No longer accurate, thankfully. Listened to him talk about why he abandoned libertarianism, and it seems like he's come around to a similar thought process that I had 20 or so years ago.

Slovaks were invited to create Czechoslovakia, so there is not high percentage of Germans in future Czech Republic created on original land of previous Kingdom of Bohemia.

Sunderland region belongs historically to Czech land. See all maps before 1620, and you will see. Even during Austro-Hungary Empire, it was called Land of Bohemian Crown (Bohemian = Czech). Just because majority were Germans, does not mean they could be independent. Is USA planning to give Texas to Mexico, just because a lot of people are Spanish speakers? President Wilson statement of minorities, was a see for WWll. .

Simply accepting the terms such as civil war indicates the degree of brainwashing in English society. In every meaning of the term we had a revolution. Engish history is written through a filtered lens.

The issue is specifically that a personal share of air, land & water should be considered a free birthright of all humans; that's common sense ethics modern day libertarians can't seem to process or verbalize, which is bizarre. It's simply applying the NAP toward pre-existing natural resources needed for survival.

Mrs Sherman praising early stoic, Zeno, forgot to mention the very dark side of his philosophy. Zeno proposed ideas that some interpret as proto-communist. He envisioned a society where people lived simply, without the need for money, laws, or private property (sic!). In his ideal state, there would be no distinctions of wealth or social status, and resources would be shared equally among all. We should stop praising ancient thinkers like some kind of "prophets of wisdom". Many of their ideas were absolutely horrific.

Industrial capitalism made all other social contracts possible. It is the indispensable backbone of all progressive social theories. Unfortunately this point is lost amongst many neo socialist. The only argument I see as valid is the percentage of allocated profits. After all the costs of doing business have been covered and a profit is turned to what purposes does that profit go to? How much can be done withit? where does it have the greatest benefit?

You cannot understand anything about the world wars unless you understand the Balfour Declaration which was the promise made to Walter Rothschild by the government of England to assist in the establishment of a Jewish state. Ralph Raico is deliberately misinforming his listeners by leaving out this critical part of history.

It's a bit problematic that he's citing David Irving, not a historian but instead a Holocaust denier (although that wasn't as well known back then). Dresden was a military target (railroad marshaling yards for the army) and not as many people died there as Irving claims. Japan's cities got burned to the ground as well. Germany and Japan shouldn't have started the war.

her comparison to plato partially misunderstands his escalotogical views. A lot of Nietszche's morality and difference from plato comes from his distaste of the "outlands" or looking to metaphysical worlds instead of reality.

Lolberts are possessed by an irrational fear and loathing for any form of government that doesn’t hew to the liberal parliamentary model. Bismarck’s reforms were anything but a catastrophe for Germans and were enacted to diffuse tensions caused by revolutionary communists.

The issue is not the issue. The issue is the revolution. Did James Lindsay come to this same realization independently, or was he inspired by Objectivists?
