I used rubber o rings and m5 plastic washers , either or works great keeping the rattle perfect on 1/10 size . Whatever works 👍

My girlfriend and I have the same bikes. We bought them at Crazy Lenny's in Madison WI.l back in 2021. Still have them. I need a new battery this year.

I ran my blx a few days ago on my nimh spectrum 7 cell hump battery and was really shocked how fast it was.. must be the gearing on this truck.. very good for nimh

Thanks for sharing.. I have that kit purchased this last spring from Brodak.. I also have a evo CL motor for it.. One of our members flew one back in 2009 and it would do the whole PAMPA pattern, it is fun to watch a bipe go through the maneuvers . Hope you and the plane are doing well..

I know its been a while but did you ever find a 32mm prop with 1.4 pitch... to me that should be perfect... main thing is cool temps... a quality 32mm with same pitch as stock 30mm should add a good amount of performance ..only other mod for performance would be a better quality battery... thanks for sharing

Personally I run mine on 3s but i find myself on the 75% throttle setting most kf the time or else its too fast...mine os always broken tho its a POS honestly butnwhen it works its awesome..

Is there any beenefit to putting washers or shims around the pivot ball to prevent and swivel of the links to minimize or take any movement of the links? RC MadLabz sells a shim kit that i bought and its impossible it seems to jnstall. So im not sure if its worth the trouble.

I like this boat and have 3 runs with it. All 3 times I have had issues. 1st and 2nd runs the transmission pins flew out of the dog bone coupler. Fixed that with some piano wire. The 3rd time the damn prop fell off. I have had a hard time trying to fine a replacement nut. From what I am reading here the original prop is not the best and I am willing to upgrade to a metal prop if it is worth it. However I still need a the nut to hold the prop in. Any ideas as to where I can get the nut?

Got em' all installed in the Granite-----but a couple of small beads leftover. Where do they go? Tech paperwork is not clear. FYI: getting the old ones off, and the new ones in, is super easy. Place the Arrma tool, or a socket over the pivot ball AND arm, and gently whack with a hammer or other tool. Turn over, and whack it in...easy peasy.

I was just doing a search to see if a metal spline adapter was made for for the HR sevo saver. No luck but i did notice HR is sold out on thier plastic ones. That tells us something. How did that plastic hold out for you. Ty for the video too🖒

I use a sponge in mine to soak up water. I think the ft012 is always going to let a bit of water in. My theory being the sponge just stops the water sloshing about the electrics as much . Oh and one tip for all you ft fans. Don't go hard throttle everywhere , you will cook the esc. If you haven't already. They are a great boat when you have changed just about all the stock items.

Larry, I've seen so many clips of people trying to mod up the propeller. Frankly I think you're wasting your time. A bronze propeller , definitely. Good stuff mate

I think my propeller is 32 mm bronze Octura but same original pitch. So I've gone one or two mm bigger. The stock ones can sheer off without hitting anything.

TRY a .432 CNC , detounged prop, and watch the magic. It will be like a new boat. THE props are pre-prepped, but some additional balancing and sharping will make a big difference. It's fun boat. ALSO the 2 Blade TFL .434 may also work, but might -cause some heat issues. IT all comes down to how , the ESC deals with the bigger prop load. THE unit uses a combo , ESC , and receiver , and I don't care for that kind of setup. If you are running hard on 3S, you should be running at least a 60AMP, or preferably , 90AMP. I'm running a 120 Amp, and can safely do 4S , on bursts, but , not sustained. Happy racing.

You can fit a 3000 amp battery. A few mods to the battery housing without any disastrous affects to handling. Any bigger , the lid won't shut. Good luck all you ft012 fans

This is what I hate about flying ✈.. A brand new great looking jet and one little mistake and it's never the same 😕 I have the Marlin and I've added A3 stabilisation but I've only flown it twice because of the flight times 3-4min on 4s 2200.. And it was a bit tricky to land 😊

I have the FT012 it is fun but the Esc is not that good I changed two and now I can't even find Esc for my boat anymore. Banggood or other websites don't have it. I'm well disappointed that I can't use my FT012 anymore. Can anyone help?

USE a Dynamite 60AMP, water cooled, and a separate water proof, receiver , and your back in business. THE hookup is simple. Channel 1 , is your steering, and channel 2 is your speed controller . The whole fix takes minutes.

The nut should be used if you dont want the set screw to back out. You will need to use the shorter input gear though as the regular input gear will be too long. The nut takes some space in the clutch housing so by using the shorter input gear will allow the center drive shaft to fit back on because it is the correct length.

They go into the steering servo arm. You have to take the servo out to get at it.

Hmm... I am definitely going to do the chassis mod underneath the power-pack on both my Big Rock V3 and Typhoon 3S V3 as after every run I am pulling the power-pack off just to clean underneath it and sometimes it can be a real bear to get it to slide out of the chassis because so much debris is underneath it..
