I’m looking on a phone and an iPad, and I thought the iPhone pictures were gonna be the Cannon picture. I thought they were nicer.

The focal lengths are based on the the diagonal of a full frame sensor; 43mm being the true ideal The 21mm and 85mm are multiples to achieve a wide and telephoto respectively These are ratios commonly used well up until the 90s. See: The Contax G2 The 31mm and 58mm are focal lengths derived from greatest common factors of 43 MATH! 😅

Seriously considering the Fjorden. In looking at the Moments accessories, the telephoto lens would be useful. Can you give a review of it? Would you leave it on the phone or take it off when not using it? How bulky does it make the phone? How difficult is it to take on and off? Would you carry it with you to use when you see a long range shot? Does it fit in the pouch that comes with the package? Sorry for all the questions but I want to know what to expect. I also bought the camera. I use it primarily for stock footage, which allows me to maximize its usage without relying on client projects. This setup forces me to consistently create content with it. If I weren't shooting stock footage, I would likely share the frustration of having the camera idle most of the time. The slow-motion footage is impressive but requires post-production to enhance the color. I partly agree with the comments about the dynamic range, but I find it usable. The camera is very easy to use and super light, making it convenient to transport anywhere. The biggest challenge with slow-motion shooting is the need for adequate lighting. Overall, I would rate the camera 8/10.

Does yours not have any input lag? I noticed mine has a slight delay.

Hi Matt, fantastic footage as always. Question: are there any places on Maui where one can purchase cameras, lenses, tech? I will be leaving UK in less then 24 hours and am still short on some gear. I remember there being a BestBuy but that has closed down, Target is well, missing the target, Walmart perhaps has some basics, and Costco is good for snagging a drone, perhaps. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Great video! I have a question, hopefully you could help me. I have a fujifilm xh2s with a metabones PL adapter. Recently I tried the Athena Nisi lenses but since the back of the lens is too protruded it wouldn't fit the adapter. I have tried several other PL lenses and this is the first time I've come across this issue. Do you know if these lenses would have the same issue? Thanks

Red Komodo is better for overall professional video and photos. I look very sexy in a Red camera as it captures all the deep detail and it doesn’t warp your appearance like an iPhone 15 pro. I can’t stand recording myself with an iPhone because it just makes me look ugly for some reason.

Thanks for the video. Quick question how come the frame rate now shows as decimals and not whole number’s ? 23.98 instead of 24? I just purchased an fx3 and it’s is the same way but everyone else’s show in whole numbers. Is that a firmware upgrade?

I has an owner of a hotel ask me to shoot photography for him, and I am told videography is also a huge part of it. I have a $25 unstable tripod and no special lenses to make certain the light is modified...I'm a little nervous and put off the learning of it all week. It's in an hour. & this is my first paid photo shoot in my life.

+1 on everyone who said "read the specs next time." But hey here's some possible hacks if someone REALLY wanted to force the KX into that role: RF to EF (or PL) mount with VND solves the internal ND issue for most people. Stabilize in post, shoot in 6k. Autofocus with the new DJI Focus Pro and use it on better glass than AF photo lenses with IS, probably even better quality AF. Audio, just get a 32bit float capable mic system and synch audio after, takes like 5 mins, or stop doing el cheapo gigs where you can't hire a proper sound person which should be the case anyways.

The biggest flaw for me on the fx3 is that super 35 is 1080p which limits your lens options a lot if you want 4k especially for cinema lenses.

Great setup! Well done. I would only replace the mic with a better one from Sennheiser.

Actually, h265 yells better quality at lower file size, and it has hardware support on all modern cups, including apple's m1-m4, and intel's i-cores as of gen 6 (2016).
