Dont forget people, you cannot say or imply that anything you deliver is a survey or equal to a survey. If you dont have a surveyors license, Huge penalties for that.😊

I know you have quit construction now, but I have a question that I would appreciate if you could help me with. I am a licensed engineer in Canada with good salary, and I always have been interested in surveying work, nad specifically working for myself. I am wondering if working for yourself as a surveyor was lucrative enough with the money worth the work you were doing? Thanks a lot for all the effort you put into this channel and industry.

Best of luck! I was a site engineer and land surveyor in the UK for 16 years. During that time 3 collegues killed themselves, 6 engineers i know had full mental breakdowns, 1 died driving home tired from a 14 hour day, and a friend was killed onsite. Im on my 3rd knee surgery, and awaiting surgery for my shoulder and both hips. I'm only 38! I quit a few years ago and went in to digital marketing, have never looked back. The stress of the construction industry is a secret, no one knows what we do in our service to building the country. Thanks for your service and have fun on your next adventure 💪

Wow that’s so sad! And I totally agree as well as the metal toughness the physical can be brutal too! So glad you found a new awesome career 🙌 thanks for watching. 👀

Congrats on the transition. Also a Site engineer in the UK for 8years and now want to move on as I have also had enough. What steps did you take to transition to digital marketing?
@freestyle737Ай бұрын
@@Forever-v1b hi. I started off in 2018 doing an online course from udemy, to get a basic understanding of DM. Back then DM wasn't as mainstream and popular as it is now. I then did a course from tai Lopez, as at the time he was a big figure in the DM space. From there I did social media management for free for a number of people, to get some hands on experience. Gained experience in seo, ads, creating ebooks and also doing graphic design. With that experience i landed a consulting contract for a saas company in frankfurt. This company did the software for banks so was a high ticket client (£250ph). Since then iv been taking on new clients as and when, i also moved to barcelona for 5 years to take a break from the UK weather. DM now is a highly in demand field. But, it's very female dominated and most companies will typically only hire girls or people of colour, so if your a white guy it can be hard to get employed work! I have been a freelancer since i started, i was a freelancer site engineer and land surveyor, so the stresses of self employment didnt phase me. If you want to transition in to any new role, away from SE, then do it gradually. What would you like to do, what do you typically do in SE currently?

Hey. I have a question. I make promotional videos for businesses, people selling warehouse, that kind of thing. I wouldn’t fly over crowds of people. My drone is a mini. It sounds like a A2 CofC would allow me to do this legally. But would I also need to obtain a PfCO? Thanks in advance for the help.
