Fun Fact: this score was actually gonna be used for american werewolf in london but it was rejected to make the werewolf transformation in the film more comical because as you know An American Werewolf In London is a Horror and Comedy

I'll never understand where the inaccurate siren sound effect came from, who made it & why, or why the actual original sounds used in the movies are seemingly nowhere to be found. Thanks for your efforts to fix that though! (especially by attempting to recreate the montage siren that nobody seems to remember or care about: yours seems a little slow compared to the real thing though)

I don't think the siren sound that floats around is inaccurate. It's just low quality and suffers from intense compression. I am going to soon make a new version of the Ecto 1 siren and hopefully have that up soon!

@@godsguitar7 If you listen to the Ecto-1's siren in the movies (particularly during "WE GOT ONE!" in Ghostbusters 1) you'll be able to hear that compared to the inaccurate version the movie version winds down more gradually (a lot like this recreation you made actually: the inaccurate version only winds down at the _very_ end of each cycle).

I never did like the siren that was used for the Ecto-1 of the 1984 film's montage. The people who worked on the film should've stuck with the siren that was heard during the first half of this video.

On the contrary I like the fact that Ecto-1 has more than one tone, a "yelp" tone if you will (going by the second tone on most emergency vehicle sirens). The "wail" tone probably would have been too slow for the fast-paced montage anyway.
