King Kong vs Godzilla - Godzilla Wins Ending (Fan-Edit)

This is an edit I did of Godzilla winning at the end of King Kong vs Godzilla. No, I don't care if Kong won or not, this is how I'd imagine the film ending to be if the rumors were true that Godzilla won in the original.

I think a good line after Godzilla emerged from the sea is when one of the characters asks the main character who can defeat Godzilla. And he answers with “If Kong couldn’t stop him, then I don’t know who can.” Kong is dead. Godzilla is the winner and humanity is doom.

Technically it was a draw, cause godzilla didn't die he got buried which explains in Godzilla vs. Mothra 1964 why he rose from the ground than his usual water entrance. Every knows they said king Kong won so Americans won't get butt hurt for their monster getting his butt whooped. They nerfted Godzilla by makibg him weak to electricity but if everyone remembers in Godzilla debut film he was unaffected by the electricity thus kong a chance other wise Kong would have been dead.

I mean, the real reason Kong won wasn't "so Americans won't get butt hurt" but because Godzilla was still only a villain and him winning and going back to destroying Japan wouldn't make any sense for the movie. Godzilla wasn't even ten years old yet, and Toho was extremely thankful to get the rights to Kong who had been extremely popular for 30 years.

Technically, there was the ending where Godzilla wins, but Kong wins in the U.S. and UK. The Godzilla ending was Japanese exclusive only.

Yeah, see that's why the multiple ending myth makes no sense. If Godzilla won, he'd just go back to destroying Japan. (Similar to Godzilla 2000, but that wasn't gonna happen in a 60's movie.) It would've made the whole fight between Kong and Godzilla just a pointless detour. Further, the whole film has Godzilla as a straight villain who still represented the horrors of nuclear war, so him winning wouldn't have made Japanese audiences happy back then to begin with. He didn't become a hero til later.
