I find medical professionals in the field make you feel like you’ve described by spewing all the scientific stats…then they see your numbers and become speechless.When conceive and give birth….crickets🦗
@LiveFertile6 күн бұрын
I hope that changes! People deserve better than that. I really need everyone, medical providers included, to understand how to use population-based statistics. They tell us about the population not an individual. And they were never meant to be used to browbeat or scare people. Plus higher risk does not mean high risk, nor does lower risk mean low risk. It's all relative. Anyhow, thanks for your comment 😊

AMH level Increases tips and yoga
@LiveFertile6 күн бұрын
Hi there. Are you making a request for information or a video? I don't create videos to address AMH because AMH as a standalone lab value doesn't tell us much, if anything, about someone's chances of conceiving. Instead, I recommend focusing on supporting egg quality. I have a whole playlist dedicated to that, which you can watch here: kzbin.info/aero/PLzfdIQsNEko2CGjENIm1mACQt262QqtTr

Hello , I upgraded my yoga session , but this session I don't understand how to bring attention to pelvic floor ? can you explain me bit more
@LiveFertile12 күн бұрын
Hi there 👋🏾 What I meant was to focus the mind or attention at the bottom of the pelvis. What that means or looks like for each person will be different for each person. Some people might focus on any sensation at the perineum (the bit of skin between the genitals and the anus) or the muscles surrounding the vagina and anus, others will visualize the area, and others might pay attention the bottom of the pelvis. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the the informative video. Q10 seems to improve general health, do I have to stop taking it after conceiving or it's safe during pregnancy?
@LiveFertile12 күн бұрын
Hi there. I have had clients for whom continuing it during pregnancy was the right option based on their risk factors for developing certain pregnancy-related complications. I recommended that they continue taking it but only if their medical provider agreed that it was safe and appropriate for them. I would highly recommend asking your personal health care provider what would be the best option for you. Best wishes!

can we seat on floor during this 2weeks?
@LiveFertile15 күн бұрын
Hi there 👋🏾 I find myself wondering if this question is based in a cultural belief. If so, I can’t answer it since in my culture there aren’t beliefs or rules around sitting in the floor related to different phases of the cycle, trying to conceive, fertility, pregnancy, etc. What I can say is many people have done this practice and other videos on the channel that include sitting and lying on the floor during the two week wait without any issues. And from a western science lens, there’s no reason to avoid sitting on the floor during the literal phase/ two week wait. Best wishes!

How many times a week can we do this practice and which cycle phase can we do and avoid Please inform throughly
@LiveFertile20 күн бұрын
When and how often are completely up to you. I often recommend doing yoga at least 2-3x/ week to support fertility. More often if it feels supportive and fits your schedule. Less often if it doesn’t fit your schedule or it becomes taxing. This practice was created with all phases of the cycle in mind. Best wishes!

If you have PCOS, the information I share on this video might be of assistance. If you don’t have PCOS, it’s important to consider if another condition is behind your concern (or if there’s a chance you might simply have more facial and/ or body hair than you’d like but not so much that it’s a sign of a health concern. Some people are just a bit hairier than others and that’s ok.) But I cannot help beyond what I’ve shared in the video since we are not working together one on one. It might be worth scheduling an appointment with a different health care provider, maybe a dermatologist. Best wishes 🙂

Do we do this daily?
@LiveFertile27 күн бұрын
Hi there! I typically recommend practicing yoga at least 3x/ week. More often if time permits and it feels supportive; less often if you don't have the time or it starts to feel taxing or like one more have-to-do. So ultimately, it's up to you. And for this practice, I created it with the follicular phase in mind, so it would ideally be done during that phase. Hope that helps!

Hi there! I didn't create this sequence with a particular phase of the cycle in mind. I typically recommend practicing yoga at least 3x/ week. More often if time permits and it feels supportive; less often if you don't have the time or it starts to feel taxing or like one more have-to-do. So ultimately how often to do it and when to do it is up to you. Hope that helps!

Can you recommend a seafood alternative for a lifelong vegetarian? Thank you
@LiveFertile27 күн бұрын
Hi there! If you’re asking if there’s an alternative food group based on the research I use to guide my work, I wouldn’t say there’s an alternative. But there are ways to get many, if not all, the nutrients that are found in seafood. I plan on doing a video on fertility nutrition for vegans and vegetarians soon. Until then, without knowing more about your diet, a good place to start would be focusing on eating a wide variety of foods from all the food groups you do eat and choosing supplements that fill in any potential gaps. And asking your doctor to check for nutrient deficiencies could be a good idea too. Be well!
