Jake, I think you came into this with a truly open heart and having only really been exposed to a single way of looking at things. I appreciate the way you reacted to exposure to something so completely out of your worldview. Not just the answers you have, but an entirely different way of thinking about the questions.

Very important to nurture your relationship. Do not make the child more important. I agree with James. Also our children are not ours. They are Gods. How you treat eachother models everything to your children. James is very wise!!!!!

I agree we are feeling creatures and there are many feelings that are demanding and unloving. I think the problem is we do not understand what True love is. This couple the woman is very dominating in the relationship and he panders to her. Codependence is NEVER LOVE. We are often drawn to our partners through our injuries.

Does Jake enjoy displaying his stupidity? If you’re going to attempt to argue a point, you need to have something/ anything to bring to the table. Why you’d embarrass yourself in such a manner is beyond me!

I don't mind the grumpiness but it just doesn't seem like a very good argument. You're trying to establish a basis for an 'ethnic Jewish identity,' but the way you're going about it is by nitpicking the religious definition of Jewish identity and trying to show it isn't coherent. This is like trying to prove you have a dollar by showing I don't. I think you should think a bit harder about why the secular Jewish identity exists in the first place -- it has very good reasons for doing so, but also, the religious criticism of it is correct. Between the two of these definitions of 'jewishness,' I think the religious one has greater claim to logical coherence, but the secular one is capable of explaining empirical facts which the religious one fails to (e.g. why do secular Jews still identify as Jews, why are Jews persecuted regardless of religion, etc)

Abraham Pbuh was not Jewish. The term "Jewish" originates from the tribe of Judah (Yehudah), making it a tribal designation that came long after Abraham’s time. He preached pure monotheism, free of sectarian identity. Authenticity of the Old Testament The Hebrew language was revived using Arabic and other Semitic languages, making claims of the Old Testament's complete preservation of text and meaning over centuries highly unlikely. Elohim Used for Others Judaism claims monotheism, yet the Old Testament refers to others as elohim (gods): Psalm 82:6 - "You are gods (elohim), and all of you are children of the Most High." Exodus 7:1 - "I have made you as God (elohim) to Pharaoh." 1 Samuel 28:13 - A spirit (elohim) rising from the earth. These examples highlight linguistic and theological ambiguities, contrasting with the Quran’s pure monotheism and textual preservation.

The names of G-d given in the Torah aren't multiple G-ds. They are different names of the same being which convey to the people who read the Torah some aspect of G-d that He wants us to relate to in the context of the passage

So if you assume the Jews are inherently genocidal (neo nazi beliefs), then yes any action of "self defense" can be expanded as an excuse. On the other hand, destroying the Assad Syrian Army's weapons and bases with so far 0 reported casualties, when there is a real risk or known factions that are willing to sacrifice innocent lives in the hopes of destroying Israel (e.g. Hezbollah, Hamas, PIJ, etc.) it begs the question: Why do you want these weapons to exist without clear ownership?

Jake you’re smart enough to discern the bigotry and racism of this man, he doesn’t know what he’s talking about nor he knows anything about Islam. Jihad can mean many things, one meaning is to struggle against oneself and desires, struggling to fulfill God’s law and abstain from what God made prohibited. Another meaning which is what people have a misconception with, is the political or military jihad which is to fight oppressors but you can only fight those who oppress not people or the civilians, in fact hurting civilians even trees is prohibited. If you want to learn what Islam really is, I would advice you to bring a scholar , someone who is knowledgeable about the matter

Moses was not Jewish. He was from the Children of Israel, tribe of Levi. This Rabbi is Torah observant but a dangerous fanatic non the less. The intellectual fruit salad is carefully crafted to divert from his core belief which is Messiah is being prevented from returning while Jews rule a state of their own. Its that simple. Dont ask what he thinks of a goys soul.
