South Africa would greatly benefit from the legalization of psychedelics as we rank as one of the worst countries in terms of mental health globally
@seanmac-ku5ui4 ай бұрын
Oh gosh, you have just sent my heart rate skyrocketing guys. I recollect a shop in central Cape Town just off Long street selling hemp clothing, Personally speaking pretty rough looking stuff with a limited public appeal. Right into it. As a coarse hollow fiber substance can it not be hammer treated to make the strands softer as a textile, plus oxidizing or bleaching it to the point where it could be dyed & spun into a loom friendly material. Also could it the not be paired with wool, cotton, artificial fibers, lower grade Mohair for curtains, furniture fabrics I could Imagine that mixed with the local wool in the Eastern Cape that it could be woven into funky design non toxic mats & carpeting by their women. The Eastern Cape is a dying province with no prospects ahead for its population. & has become a national liability. Instead of the present government trying to engineer large scale migration to the Western Province for political purposes, they owe it to the Xhosa people to not condemn them to a life of squalor in squatter camps where they are viewed as intruders by the local populations.

The South African governments ego makes them think they know better than the experts. For many people psychedelics is their last hope. The Government should let psychedelic guides do their work.

I got one of these units a few years ago. A 1L short path. What I didn't realize is how much product you need to even run one of these. I ended up just using it to teach myself organic chemistry. Unless you're on a large scale you're better off using other methods for seperation. Even then its still probably more produced than the home grower can reasonably produce.

CBD isomerisation cuts off the need to grow
@kathleenrobertpogue68188 ай бұрын
@@kybravo3744 if people had the money to buy CBD isomers in bulk, they would have enough to just buy the bud and not grow it. I can grow 20 pounds of bud for cheaper than you can get a half pound of CBD isomers. You seem to be missing the issue there bud.

What is the smallest scale for commercializing.. thiis industry.... Does municipal bylaws allow U to zone a small space within residential area and what will that size be... Entrants for new individuals could start there... this sound as if no consideration is given for poor people this is only for people with big money... there has to be some entrant consideration.. regulations and controls considerd

This was good to hear. Psilocybin with its low toxicity, short duration, rapid tolerance, and lack of potential for addiction has to be a candidate for the least regulated psychoactive substance in the country. The biggest potential harms really come from other substances being sold as psilocybin - which presumably is already covered by the existing civil and criminal law. It's easy to see that, even were the principle of autonomy granted, drugs in difficult, potentially dangerous formulations such as methamphetamine or Fentanyl would continue to require very strict regulation of use - even if they are granted for non-medical purposes. But at the same time, the same should go for alcohol and tobacco. The latter is fairly well regulated by law (if not in practice) but the former is woefully under-regulated - leading to huge harms. The state should take an evidence-based approach to balancing our constitutional freedoms against the undoubted potential harm that some drugs (including alcohol) have - and likewise reduce that regulation for drugs like psilocybin and DMT with little known potential for harm.

Great Video. Phivo Artemides can join our company for building hemp housing in South Africa and Lesotho. "Housing Project 1000 Hemp Housing a Day". Get in touch with us 🙂 We are also involved in eco- hemp-community villages. Over-regulation can be overcome so long as the government sees the long-term advantages. We have over 2 million housing backlog right now for the poorer communities. Please also mention "companion Plants" for hemp organic farming to use as a natural pesticide etc...

Government stupidity that wants to regulate aka corrupt theft the people... This foolishness of the idiots that know nothing of a source want to say the most aka regulate things they know nothing about.. This has always ended in a disaster... Take out the government regulation and regulate it from the originators side not the end product side aka tax to government that is ALWAYS against the people, Always....

I want this job more than I want anything else in this world. I've studied this plant, grown this plant, smoked this plant, and have written and reiterated an unpublished book on it 3 times; 3 separate books. All on cannabis and nothing but the facts, leaving out personal input or opinion. Just facts.

Unfortunately psychedelic mushrooms and access to psilocybin is highly regulated (medical clinical trial) in South Africa, many are petitioning locally for this to change, but likely to be on going battle.
