I don't know why someone thought it was Paul but that's definitely a Learned Drummer which can be heard by the use of the Tom and Snare rolls at certain sections. They are done using a technique that takes a LOT of practice to learn to get right each and every time. Yes it's possible I'm wrong but I highly doubt that I am unless someone comes forward with certain evidence that he did. He may have shown someone on the drums what he was looking for for the track but that's not him on the actual track.
