Hmm.. it's interesting to find out watching this video one Spanish word that keeps being repeated in it has a Greek derivative (although that Spanish word also came from from Greek originally, thus making a full circle) and that is "palabra", i.e. word, which in Greek becomes "παλάβρα", i.e. nonsense. Now the word comes from Latin parabola which came from the Greek word for parable, i.e., "παραβολή". Although the word "παλάβρα" is very rarely used, if at all, today (only may only hear it in old movies and such), it's derivatives are still in frequent use, e.g., "παλαβός", i.e. simpleton, idiot, madman or nut or "παλαβομάρα", i.e. nonsense or silly mistake etc.
