I love the bumeranf and the kurganets-25, they're one of my fav ifvs but for the current state of this war, those are to new and too food, for right now, is wayyyy better if they start mass producing this new btr, which will be way faster to produce and way cheaper

Russians getting a chance to see that this western tank.....which is probably 30+ years old.....outclassed their equipment. Vlad.....how's the Special Military Operation going? 2 years in.....thousands of armored vehicles lost......half the Black Sea navy sunk.....two very expensive AEWC platforms gone......and hundreds of thousands dead on both sides. All for a sliver of land you probably could have paid for with money.

The m1a1 is a 40 year old design. I'm not surprised at all to see them going down. Also this is the first war since its development that we didn't have intelligence superiority. The Russians can see them and track our movement from space, and you can't hide them behind trees and other cover because it has a flipping turbine engine that runs and outputs exaust that's a million degrees, it's a huge target for thermal imaging. I'm not sure if people understand all of the nuances in this war. It needs to end. Neither side can win without the use of nukes. I'm sorry buy Ukraine isn't worth destroying the planet.

as a tank commander of 20 years what this SSG says is spot on, i will go a step further and say tanks of the future need to be remote controlled, ie, drone. they can be smaller, and no loss of life if destroyed.

We found out real quick in VN that the M60 tank was useless. We don't seem to learn anything, We always revert to the same old worn-out doctrine. It's a whole new ball game with drones. A $40k missle will take out any vehicle on today's battlefield. We need to rethink tanks.

The tanks we gave them were garbage wal*mart versions of the real thing. No explosive reactive armor, no radar, no auto-targeting, no radio, no anti-tank missiles, no electronic warfare suite. A fully loaded Abrams tank goes for around 10 million dollars a piece. The model Ukraine got is worth around 4 to 5 million per tank. When you send garbage, you can expect it to perform poorly. Because duh. We gave literally HALF the tank. we gave them 37 tanks, which actually equates to around 15 or 16. Edit: If I was Ukraine, I would have made public KZbin videos showing how stripped out they were, with side^by^side comparisons to the real thing. The difference between our good tanks and the tanks we gave them is even visible from the exterior of the tank. I don't just look the gift horse in the mouth, I give the horse's mouth a thorough inspection, to make sure it doesn't have any cavities I will have to take care of. I don't accept garbage, even when it is given free. I take that garbage and throw it on the ground right in your face, I might even spit on it. Ukraine took the highroad and expressed gratitude for it. And when questioned they answer very carefully, as to not upset the ignorant masses that don't even know we gave them stripped down versions of the real tanks. They did their level best to not make any problems for our government. Everyone here in the US is faking like they want to help. We gave them 37 half^tanks. Does that sound like a winning strategy? Did you expect them to win the war with just 37 tanks?! Hahahaha! Idiots.

Good design to be lighter if there's no extra armour. They'll planning to make their own extra amour that is much more harder in the future. That could be only for representation, the next tank with similar features but can have more armour to be attached, the name Type-10A, and Type 10B.

BMP 3 is almost four times cheaper than Bradley. Don’t forget that the war in Ukraine is currently a war of attrition. Considering the price of both vehicles is extremely important. Very surprised it wasn’t mentioned in the video.

No it’s just not a great tank compared to the Leopard and Challenger for that battlefront. Leopard and Challenger are designed specifically for fighting in Europe. It’s also the first time drones have played such a big part in warfare and they need to have infantry and air support to do the best job.

У этих танков есть определённая задача, связанная с выездом в самые опасные зоны. Мне кажется, что обзор командира не поможет пережить танку попадание РПГ или дрона, так что обзор для таких задач это очень второстепенная характеристика.

The whole measuring contest between countries needs to stop. The USSR provided the bulk of the manpower, but half of all rolled steel used in Soviet armour was made from American rolled steel and British advances in radar and intelligence gathering gave the Allies a massive advantage. All nations contributed based on their strengths and complimented each other surprisingly well. Look at the Katyusha. Russian rocket launcher on an American studebaker 6 1/2 ton! Allied cooperation at its finest.

we may need to see the use of bullet storm systems or similar to how warships have GAU cannons for missile track and kill smaller models sporting .22cal Gatling cannons. I feel the Rhodesian angry hornet coming back into play as anti drone weapon.

Hi RedEffect. Could you make a video about the T-64 and T-80UD in Russian service before this war and in it. In general it seems that these tanks were removed from service because of parts supply issues, because the factory of these tanks is in Ukraine. But I have read that the LPR and DPR had at the maximum around 400 T-64's, in addition there were videos of T-64's being removed from fields and put on trains, in Russia. About the T-80UD, as far as I know, the tank wasn't confirmed to be present on the front line on the Russian side, but there were claims that they were removing them storage. In addition there is a video, in which was claimed and showed that T-80UD's specifically, were being moved by train. I wasn't able to find more information about them.

Russia had relatively few T-64s, although T-80s had many more. If LPR and DPR had a good number of T-64s, since 2014, and then those captured since 2022 were transferred to them because they were the ones they knew, just as the Russian forces knew little about them in comparison,

Recently there was video of a Leopard 2 placed on display with other captured vehicles in Moscow, and before the display was opened a crane lifted a heavy weight and lowered it onto the gun barrel to bend it down. They also did this to an Abrams. Any idea why they did this?

These Ukrainian Abram's are not the most modern version's of the Abram, the front line US Abram uses active defence and is networked into a better situational awareness capability, but alas the Abram is at the wrong end of it's career. The US is looking at a replacement, and with every tank blowing their tops off in the Ukraine the US might rethink heavy armour. Russian armour has been abysmal in design capability and operational tactics in Ukraine and the US usually operates in a dominate air superiority environment, there is no one out there that can defeat the US in air superiority. So Abrams under Ukrainian command is not as effective as armour under US command due to the amount of support and reach of the US armed forces.

_"The frontal armor is enough to stop 30mm autocannon'"_ WHICH 30mm..? - Like the 30mm of the M230 (Apache) - 80,000 lb ft of energy..? - Or the 30mmx173mm (GAU-8) - 250,000 lb ft of energy..? Bc that is QUITE the range.

Even if it were a serious consideration ... why would you do that given that the T-14 is already excellent, already done trials, and since there are already at least SOME of the, there's already a factory. It would have to be some sort of a quantum leap in ideas and spectacularly cheap to displace something already created that's as good as the T-14. Which, it seems we won't see until it's adequately behind everything from the rest of the world. I guess Russia just doesn't ever want to have an advantage or something. Liiiike ... manufacturing Su-57, implementing AESA, having ANY domestic combat flight simulators, an APC that's actually meaningfully armored, or an IFV with say, both Thermal, a well stabilized gun and again, armor that can stop 30mm. Which is a lot, but given that pretty much ALL Armored vehicles use an auto cannon ... it's the minimum. The US is considering going to 50mm auto cannon ... which literally puts out over 500,000 lb ft of energy per round. To compare to a 20mm, you're talking about 33,000 lb ft, at 25mm you're looking at 45,000 ... the full sized (not the Apache 30mm, those rely on HE for their kill radius), but equivalent to the GAU-8 which is 30mm x 173mm has 250,000 lb ft if I recall correctly. Vs a 50 cal, which is 13,500 lb ft, and it's a BEAST. Right now the BMP-2 offers protection of .50 BMG and maybe 14.5mm (like a Lahti). There ARE no IFV or APC I can think of which don't use a 25mm. MAYBE a few which use 20mm ... but even teh M2 are often secondary weapons ... so it really is worth some meaningful armor ... otherwise? As you see, people don't even bother riding inside BMP-2 ... it's freaking CRAMPED, cannot stop artillery shrapnel from 5m !!! Why bother. All of which is confusing as hell, bc the fact is ... the KIA numbers in this conflict make it clear that Russia DOES care about keeping their KIA and WIA low. They're still below 60,000 KIA as of April 2024 (see MediaZona). So they need to reconcile their ACTUAL hardware that they're going to keep moving forward ... bc this war "cleaned out" their old inventory in a way that finally makes it efficient to do so.
