The biggest issue I have with Hoppes is that they sell this other grease that they're calling "gun grease" but reading the label it sounds like it is for storing your weapons as oppose to a lubrication. Then they have that "black" line of products but as you said it is runny and seems to only come in the syringe which I did not like.

Wait your fatal flaw is the express purpose of the trigger? That is the reason 99% of the people want to buy this trigger. And you didn't even install it correctly?

I just bought the skeletonized trigger. I would have never even considered buying it had it not been for your installation video that shows how much it reduced pre and post travel.

Your finger is supposed to be at the bottom of the fulcrum. If anything, this trigger will show you if you are fingering it incorrectly.

They are fun guns to shoot. I bought mine when they first came out. I picked up a complete top end and 8 extra magazines along with spare comp parts. Great guns. I have shot mine over 11,000 times now. I use light 90 and 115 grn jhps or fmjs. With max loads of AA9 and 90/95 grn bullets the comp works so well that the gun recoils down. You press the trigger and a hole opens up on the target right where sights were aiming. 357 sig and the 229 Sport were made for each other. Originally you could get them in 40 cal also. The barrels are bigger diameter then normal 229 barrels. The recoil and ejection cycle is smooth with hot loads because the grips are hand filling and sticky. It gives a loud crack when fired. It’s definitely on the “never sell” list for me.

The "Flaw" is actually how the trigger safety is supposed to function. That's how ALL trigger safeties are supposed to function. It's doing what it's designed to do. Thanks for demonstrating that it indeed works as intended.

I've been having a hell of a time finding a correctly fitted kydex holster for my M11-A1. It seems a lot of makers are using old 229, 228 or God knows what else molds. As you know the slide/frame is not the same size on the M11-A1 vs. the old/classic P series 228s and 229s. This solves my problem- Vedder it is!

I agree with you, Glocks are dependable, lightweight, but its not a Sig 229. They're close to the same size, but totally different pistols. Glocks are kinda like bic lighters, disposable

Thanks for your video! I was wondering if the notch on the side of the bolt face @ 9:49 (on the opposite side from the extractor, where the rim of the shell would rest when in battery) was normal and I see that yours has it, too.

I"ve got the GG flat trigger, I didn't install it- was a smith. I've been having problems. It'll go dead and not engage at all, or it'll actually lock up and i need to manually cycle to attempt to fix. Anyone have any ideas about it?

Not once has this caused an issue with me. If you are firing your pistol with your hand in that position, then you deserve for this trigger not to work. When you have your hands properly positioned ready to fire, your finger doesn’t ride that high! I have multiple sigs with these triggers and not once has that been an issue and I’ve got medium hands.

I did recently buy two new p220 legion guns in the 45 and 10mm. I like some of the features the legions have. Mine have the optic cuts with the RMR and Delta point pro. Overall I totally agree about the legion membership because my brother traded for a P226 legion and he cannot buy anything from the legion store. I let him use my account if needed. Lol. Great video. I usually prefer building my preferred guns to get what I want. In this case the legion filled that well.

I was so evenly split on which one I wanted (between the flat triggers that is) even after your analysis and comparision I was still split right down the middle 50/50, then you talked about Gray Guns shipping practices and that immediately made my decision for me I am going with Armory Craft without question. To charge $9.99 for a $3 flat rate envelope is so off putting and distasteful I refuse to support a business that does something like that just to make a few extra bucks. If they did what you said and raised the price of the product a few dollars fine whatever that is what it is, but to be deceitful and so blantantly obvious about it too like they are throwing it in your face almost is just a non starter sorry not sorry Gray Guns.

Expected the video to be terrible from some of the comments, but turns out to be a perfectly valid review, the trigger dingus should have been pivoted from much higher, so as long as your finger is on the trigger and pulling, it should be able to disengage the safety. The issue with P320's total lack of safety (or weak safety if you want to be charitable) is that this has been known to discharge even while in holster if the holster ever so slightly pinches on the trigger itself from either side, as reported by many police officers, and if their words are questionable, also a comp shooter here on KZbin, the dingus will solve this entirely, but it should still let you pull the trigger even if you pull the trigger closer to the top of the middle.

I like your set up. I own a m11a1 I’ve just started tweaking to my liking, and a pair of 229 Legions. Love all three and as far as the legion club offerings, it’s just a truck load of shit hats and other brand advertising trinkets. Nothing to feel left out or bitter about.

I've never had an issue with mine - sure, I can deliberately induce that same "flaw", but I could literally do the same thing with the "hinged" triggers on my earlier M&P's. Bottom line, you should be dry firing to master trigger press as much as possible with ANY gun so that the placement and pull is muscle memory. For me, especially with flat triggers, that means finger pad goes as low on the trigger as possible to intentionally defeat the blade (or hinge) trigger safety. May not be the same experience for everyone, but I've only ever encountered this "flaw" when trying to induce it intentionally - that includes stress shooting drills, etc. YMMV.
