I have a set on my Charles Daly Hi Power and 10mm 1911 that I hunt with. Great sight. Has taken the 10mm pounding for a couple of years with no issues. BTW If you can find a Charls Daly Hi Power buy it. The parts were made by FM (Hungary) then machined, finished and assembled by either Magnum Research or Dan Wesson. Better than anything made by Browning since the 70's.

@@TheFallingHammer Look for a Charls Daly. Already has an extended safety and XS sights. And because of the Novak cut any 1911 sight will slide in. Legend is that CD lost money on every one they sold. Everyone assumed because of the name on the slide it was a POS so they went unsold for a long long time.

How high can you go on elevation? Can it go higher than stock Ruger sr1911?

Definitely a downside for them, I believe they are the most expensive set of sights I've purchased. That being said, for the accuracy they give you and especially wanting the best sights I can have for a EDC, IT IS definitely worth it.

I had to call in and order directly over the phone. They had to be fit slightly but I got them in pretty easy. If your not comfortable changing sights I would have it done.
