Hi Amy. Still working on my studio here. Hope to have the bulk done in the next 10 days then finish in January. Figuring out creative zones have helped. Declutterring both mentally and physically has really helped me. Quick story on happy. When our granddaughters stayed with us a few summers back, my youngest loves pink and she always wore a pink ‘straw’ hat from $Tree when we went anywhere. People seeming to be in their own world, couldn’t help but smile and wave at her. She brought smiles to everyone she met. There’s truth in smile and the world smiles with you. Creative Blessings!

Hope you have a great time setting up your studio. I look forward to it. I love little photo printers. They are convenient when you do what you do and also for those with penpals. I have a Polaroid printer so that my photos can look like Polaroids, but the ink costs a lot for just a few photos to be printed. I have had it for several years, but I will probably replace it at some point. Yes, letting go of things and surrendering them is very freeing. That is beautiful that you always see hummingbirds. I have only seen them at the summer camp I went to in the Adirondack Mountains in NY. They are so cool! They have hummingbird stamps at the US post office right now! I bought some a few times. Beautiful pages!!!

My old Canon Selphy stopped working after 8 years so I just treated myself to the CP1500. I love it! So many cool options. Waiting for your second sticker book now. Love the first one and the Paper Play book. And hummingbirds (we need a hummingbird emoji)! ❤

Hey Amy! It's been a really tough year for me, but I am fully embracing the lessons that I took away from it. Some things happened this to me year that is really forcing myself to consider a drastic career change. I will never abandon my creative life, but I do think that it is important to listen to the signs that universe is giving to us. And just maybe... if I play my cards right, I can still have the best of both worlds.

Such a fun cover, can't wait to see how the rest of the book turns out ❤ I've tried to do December Daily the last 2 years and neither are finished. Much like you often say, I start off fairly strong but wain as the month progresses (we have a very busy December with a lot of birthdays n our anniversary on top of the obvious). This year, I'm just gonna focus on keeping my journal/memory planner up-to-date n take the pressure off trying to keep up with another project (plus if stuff is in my journal, I can always refer back if I want to create something else after the fact 🤷‍♀️).

I always have trouble with Signo white pen. Someone said if it stops working run it along your finger. That did work sometimes but it's just too expensive to have to do all that! A good alternative is Pentel Milky Pop.....It comes 2 in a pack and it's less expensive and I've never had any trouble using it. Thanks for sharing :)

this is so cool, as a quilter who recently got into junk journaling, i wondered if it was possible to hand stitch paper. i am not too excited about machine sewing paper even tho it might be easier. I love working with fabric on journal covers and now wondering if i would need to poke holes if the paper or cardboard is covered (both sides) in fabric? ☺️ thank you for sharing this 9 years ago!
